Today's experience with a homeless guy

Booze is cheap and I doubt he has many escapes that bring him any kind of pleasure. I suppose it becomes a vicious cycle. I bet I would drink if I were in his situation, and I don't even like drinking much. I didn't mean to imply that we should feel sorry for him, I was more trying to point out...

Yep, that's Wiley. I feel a little luckier to have him today too!

Today's experience with a homeless guy

Wow, I have had some humbling experiences in my life, but nothing close to what some of you have said here. When I heard the news of my friend's little boy, it brought tears to my eyes, which is very rare for me. He is a great guy with a really good soul and no one deserves to outlive their...

Today's experience with a homeless guy

Out in the real world today, I was working at a benefit car wash for a friend whose 4 year old child was killed in a senseless and tragic car accident last month. He needs the help to be able to get a headstone. Anyway, a friendly although drunk homeless guy approached us, with no car of course...

You are truly an ex-smoker when...

... when you decide to "try" a cigarette again (since it has been so long) just to "see" what was so enticing about them to begin with. It tastes terrible, you are completely unimpressed with the volume of smoke produced, and you put it out half way through because you can't wait to get back to...

Of all the irresponsible...POed, should I be?

I would like to see ECF take a more active role in educating people about all this too. In this General forum, there are new posts all the time about coil wrapping, sub-ohm, etc. With all the noobs out there reading this stuff, they immediately think that these are the things they are supposed...

    Vaping and heartburn

You may want to consider reducing your nic level to see if that helps.

    This Pesky Forum

I saw a random side bar ad for Blu in '09, which was the first time I had even heard of e-cigs. I had already failed at dumping analogs 3 times and I was interested in the "gadgetry" aspect of it. I started doing my research online, but ECF wasn't popping up yet for every search that contained...

    The other 80%

I'm not sure which market the OP's 20% is referring to, maybe that's in the US. The US is still a pretty small percentage of the world vaping community even though it has exploded in the last couple of years. You know the cig companies are shipping boatloads of tobacco products over seas on a...

How do you store your stuff?

Repurposed tackle box here. I was afraid my dog might get into the stuff I had laying all over a table, and one of my old tackle boxes worked great. I used one of those blue metal storage boxes with 12 little clear plastic drawers, but it wouldn't accommodate larger things.

    Dripping epiphany

THIS is the absolute best advice I have seen in awhile, and I couldn't agree more with every word. I still use Joye 510 XLs every single day.

    YouTube "reviews" (rant)

Having worked in "the business" for awhile, I can definitely say a couple of things. First off, there are TONS of people looking for the freebies. It is a very safe bet that most if not all vendors are clobbered by emails weekly or even daily (I know because I saw them) from folks saying...

    Size does matter!

Apparently, our youth are our future. We should keep an eye on an 18 year old girl named Eesha Khare that recently won $50,000 at the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair in Phoenix. She will soon be attending Harvard. She won her prize for her super capacitor invention that may soon...

    1 battery or 2 batteries?

OK, I'm not sure why this is even an argument, it seems rather pointless to go on. OP, take the risk seriously, with a grain of salt, or however you choose to. Sorry if anyone feels attacked by what I said, maybe I phrased things in an aggressive way. There are clearly opinions on both sides of...

    1 battery or 2 batteries?

Well, I'm not going to back up anything because I don't have the time to do someone else's research for them today. The OP is doing the right thing by asking, and whether or not any of us posting on this thread have personally experienced an explosion (I have not), he does deserve to know that...

    1 battery or 2 batteries?

I hate to disagree with you here, but there are many noobs to vaping who are confronted with choices about high voltage, sub-ohm, wrapping their own coils, stacking or not stacking batteries, etc. Most are looking for the most powerful vaping experience they can find to help them shed another...

    1 battery or 2 batteries?

I know that using the search feature here can yield so many results that it is hard to sift through them all. Rolygate is a resident expert and dropped us a very nice post all about batteries awhile back that is totally worth the read. It may help to answer some of your questions. Check it out...

Another "Vapor's Rights" Thread. Skip it if your tired of hearing these rants.

About three years ago I was in a job situation where people didn't understand vaping yet, and I was too visible to the public to even think about vaping inside. I tried a "stealth" e-juice that sounded pretty interesting. I don't recall where it was from; I want to say that it was a DeKang...
