So, I'm two months in and thought I wanted to try dripping. So I hoped on fasttech and ordered an sm20. Thought it was cheap enough to give me a taste of what it feels like. Got it in the mail, pulled it out, they are TINY by the way, coiled it up, got a good ohm on it and put some juice on it. Tasted like rubber. Gross actually. So I put it down and thought what was the big deal with dripping. I saw that a local B & M had IGO-L's and thought I would go give one of those a chance. It was bigger and looked easy enough to build. Got it setup perfectly with a 2.1 ohm coil, put some juice and BAM. The flavor is awesome. It's just the juice. No extras, no rubber, no filler, no nothing but the juice. I now understand why people drip. Although it's not too portable, although doable just not my thing, it will be one of the main things I'm doing at home. Thanks to Phil Busardo and GrimmGreen for the videos so I could make a good decision, and of course ECF threads. Plus I actually found a juice that I'm in love with. AND I also found out I passed my boards to become a certified physical therapist assistant. Man yesterday was a good day!!! Vape on people. Vape on!

It would behoove every vaper to get a decent atomizer and learn to drip.
Worst case scenario is that you can use it as backup when all your tanks and cartos and clearos are pissing you off.

And a decent dripping atomizer can be as simple as a Joyetech 510 which is what I use.
You don't have to get all HH357/Cisco/RBA/RDA about it unless you want to.

another variety bid for the 510-t atty on an ego with a beauty cone, its the bees knees of elegant, sleek, coolness with driptip on,,, also with a small tank when you don't want to drip its not as cute then with tank lol..

Even tho I have on order igo l and know its leaps and bounds better, the 510 being so small is no punk in the ecig world.. Its surprising..

I won a RDA recently, and yes, the flavor difference is astounding -- what have I been missing all of this time? It revived juices I was leaving for the zombie apocaylpse and showed me the errors of my ignorance :)

And that was on the stock coil that came with it. I then built my first coil and BAM! It was even better! More vapor, more TH, more flavor! 1.2 ohm coil on a k100 -- killah!

I shelved my Protanks, since I wasn't getting great performance from them. Now that I have a back-up 510 APV and a RDA, I can live without them and not care :)

I'm just sorry that it took 2 months before I discovered that "dripper hype" isn't hype -- it's rapture :D

I'm tempted to try a micro coil but I don't have any 28 kanthal. I've got 32 so I don't think it would turn out well unless I did dual. Not quite ready to take on dual coils yet.

Check with Volcano KC the volcano store on the north side of the city I believe he said he was getting 28g and ribbon in a couple weeks ago he sells everything now not just volcano anymore

Awwyiss, RDAs. My first time with a phoenix felt like a vaping dropkick.

I always drip at home, save the vivi novas for school and protanks for when I'm out in town or in the kitchen for a while. I'm currently testing three experimental RY4 formulas on my phoenix style right now. I should pick up an IGO-something at some point to play with, but I've already got kick clones and smoktech's killer clones at the top of the list.

I've bought a few cheap atomizers from fasstech and for the most part they're just fine. The o-rings tend to be a little tight so you really have to wiggle it to get in there to rebuild. Not sure which one you got, OP, but I really have no complaints about mine.

THIS is the absolute best advice I have seen in awhile, and I couldn't agree more with every word. I still use Joye 510 XLs every single day.

I don't have any 28 either. I've been using 32 for my micros 10 wraps gives me like 3.2 ohms.
