What? lol
What my problem was- In preperation for the Ihybrid I took my Zens insulator out to try and wrap a coil It pops everytime near the positive post. The wick is not touching the postive post or the bottom of the tank in any way.
coil is not touching insulator and it has not melted :)
Also I am copy and pasting everything you have said in a seperate window to try out when the Ihybrid gets here :)
That being said the Ihybrid you used a pre-maid wick. When you rolled your own for the zen did you use it without or with the insulator?
I am trying to see if I just fail on the wick or the coil.
One on the zen one on the Katana.
On the zen it will not work just like that without the insulator. With the insulator like that it still is not so great on flavor.
Im using a chefs torch. And sounds like I have already followed all of those steps and still popped coils.
I either
A. Wrap coils like a kindergarten student doing crafts.
b. Don't prep my mesh enough.
I think the answer might be B.
I do the three times quench process and I also use straight...
Lol I will probably have lots
Might dumb my questions down if you post a vid on wrapping a coil on this :)
I tried wrapping coils in my zen without the insulator and every single one popped..
The Ihybrid would have the same setup as a zen with no insulator so I fear the same thing will...
Bert!!!
I like what I see and that I get a little sneak peak as well :2cool:
Those colors are better then what I had in my head looks amazing as always
Insulator back in place and once again vaping great why do I have to mess with good things
Curiosity killed the cat but satisfaction brought it back :D
 Sorry I am not being the brightest bulb tonight.
I just felt like tinkering thats why I re-wrapped and from watching videos some people did not use the insulator.
I got mine from the classy's. I am rolling my own wicks and i'm a newbie to zenesis so I felt like playing with it for...
Question for anyone around I re-wrapped my zen coil and ended up trying it without the insulator but every coil I wrap pops? Or it only gets bright up at the top next to the positive post. I tried several wicks and I did 5 wraps. I also got the katana today and don't seem to be having the same...
Its a little harder to pull in the syringe I think its probably around 60vg
But currently I am liking it so I don't want to switch the mesh just yet!
I did roll a 325 for future though :D
Makes me feel a lot better now that I nailed it on my first wrap and less intimidating for all the other Genesis mods I have on the way
But on the ZAP I hear seven wraps is about where you want to be?
