    I had a top coil issue today. Took it off, flipped the wick. Luckily the bottom half was smoother and that's the working wick/coil I have now. It's a good thing. I don't even have 400 left. If this wick goes south, I'll have to clean it and re-roll it. Hopefully, we'll both be singing...

    With no juice, no wick, the entire coil should glow red. Once you add juice and the wick, it shouldn't glow. It should just be producing vapor. (It will sizzle.)

    Any time it glows when it's supposed to have juice it means that you have a short. Which coil glows? From what I've read, it's usually the top one. See if you can tighten the top coil. Pull it towards the center post if you need to.
