thank you. I assume this is to isolate the connections, preventing interference, to promote accuracy in readings?

    Mike n Tibs DNA Mods!

Well I ordered a new battery, while I wait to get the other one sorted with Hobby King. I know I'm really really late to the party here. I've been caught up with other things that took too much of my attention to stay up on the other thread and this one, until now. Could someone tell me what the...

It looks to me like there's a bad cell, because it says 2 cell 7.4

No, I attached it to the board, put a piece of tape on it to hold it in place on the enclosure, then I put a piece of padding between the board and the screen. I'm going to test the batt with the multi meter. I'm having a little trouble with my camera, I'll try to post pics soon. Thanks for all...

That sounds like the same thing here, but I soldered the positive to #3 on the board, which was my understanding. I soldered them in with the connector going into the back of the board, very carefully, and they look good to me. I've got pack voltage 3.82v

Well, I don't believe I have the balance charger backwards, I double checked. I wish I had an extra pack, but I only bought the one. I'm finding I could have planned ahead and bought 2. I think the battery pack is no good. Thanks BRD.

Yeah, I know I got the balance connector right, (3 is pos right?) I don't have a very good feeling about this battery at this point. Time to contact Hobbyking.

thanks Willy, when I plug in the batt it says check battery, and the screen only activates when I push the fire button. When I plug in the usb the screen stays on. on device monitor it says 0.00 on everything down to usb voltage. individual cells say 1= 0.09, 2= 0.67, 3= 3.19. When ever I press...

    Mike n Tibs DNA Mods!

Hey, quick question, I finally got my 200 up and running, and my battery (turnigy 1000) is like dead dead. The mod comes on when I hook up usb to charge, when I push the fire button without being connected to usb, it comes on while button is pushed only. Does this sound normal? or did it happen...

HHMmmm, think I might get me some and give it a try. It takes about 20-30 coats of the acrylic to get a good solid finish.

I'm liking that print! Decisions, decisions... I thought is was the boxer, similar, but maybe better.

Yeah, I've worked with a few. I'm currently using an acrylic sealant, and the smell dissipates fairly rapidly and thoroughly. I like the idea of the outcome with the polyurethane, it's just when I've used it in the past, with wood, the smell has staying power; but it looks like it creates a very...

Yes, I know, I have one more 200 to build. I'm considering the Mamu unit that involves hammond box and faceplate. I've never done a hammond box before, and I really like the look of her finish. I've got a number of dna40's in production; GDNA units. Seriously though, doesn't polyurethane...

Man, with the mods coming out, it's hard to justify building one, if you know what I mean.

Mine from SW fit together, the door slid well. The buttons needed sanding, and the whole thing had some sanding needed to break down ridges. Let us know how the differences are between your SW and Sculpteo prints. Glad you had a profitable week.

Sculpteo highly recommended. I got my BRD unit from shapeways, and their version of polished did not compare to Sculpteo, plus I think it took about a week longer. I got it dyed, and I think I'll go for assembly tomorrow.
