Sorry to double post, but I just wanted to say thats exactly why I switched to 90% rubbing alcohol. It seems when tap or purified water dries, it leaves a sort of residue on the coil and filler, and it takes a while to vape off, and for the flavor and vapor to return to normal. With distilled...
I just wanted to throw my 2 cents in I do a very similer method to the one described, but instead substitute 90% rubbing alcohol instead of hot water for two reasons. 1 when it dries it leaves no trace, unlike tap water (distilled water heated up would do the same) and two it dries much faster...
Haha Like a Popsicle he says.
I've tried pure vg and it does have some of those qualities. Some sweetner from a diy juice store plus pure vg would be good for some cigar like smoking.
I have been using these units for about a month now, and decided it was time to do a review of them. I did receive a Screwdriver MK-1 from cavecom for the purpose of this review, but the MK-2 was bought out of my pocket. I took my time getting to know these mods, and have tried to be honest...
Sounds like a bottom feeder. Though a feature like the mythical eclipse would be nice were it measured you juice automaticly and and all you had to do was press a button.
I might use some vasoline thats a good idea. I cut of piece of rubber to fit between the pennies and exposed wiring. Works great though. Thanks guys for all your help. Great to have a mod working again.
Para can you give me a link for the tubing you are referring too?
Cool thats what I thought. Unfortunately my radio shack did not carry a heatsink small enough to fit on it. Hopefully I can find some other place that carries them.
Exactly my point, loved your anaolgy about two sticks starting a fire. Your always on the same point as me pinky love it.
And btw I wasn't accusing him of being poor. I don't know if it sounded like that, but there are times when I don't have ten dollars to my name. Thats usually when I rip...
The regulator is the part that is heating up a lot yes? Sorry I think I know what things are but just want to make sure. And the heatsink would go on the metal part of the regulator?
I don't think you have the right to tell this gentleman he shouldn't me modding. It works it works, and with maintenance it will continue to do so. Maybe he can't afford the $10 dollar soldering iron, and still wants to be able to mod. It looks like to me hes not too shabby at it, and he worked...
So this may be asking too much but could you explain how I would go about adding another heatsink to it? I have basic soldering and modding skills, but not enough to do this properly.
Is the battery extremely tight, or just a little? Don't want to start a scare, but there have been some reports of counterfeit trustfires, and they tend to be longer then the average trustfire.
For the most part, but it only does it when I chain vape. If I space my vapes out its fine, but whens I take a couple hits back to back thats when the problems start. I think it has something to do with the heatsink (I think thats what it is) overheating maybe? It seems to get very hot very...
My splash VV mod with display built in cuts off with a LR cartomizer between 3.7-4.3v. I think its a short, but Im not sure. How would I go about checking and how could I fix it?
