I'm using mine with 14500s. The batt life is maybe a little shorter, but not much. They do draw more current, but the button presses are a bit shorter, so that compensates somewhat. -

Judging from all the problems being reported - they don't even fit some regular KR8 batts, I really don't see anything "premium" about them. -

That's odd. I got 7 of 'em and after reading your post I decided to check 'em out. 2 of the 7 have a very slightly stiffer draw (better actually) than the others. Actually they seem much more consistent that the Joye 510s I'm used to. Me too, Scottbee. Women are so fickle :cry: -

A lot! lol. The lower the ohm rating for a given setup, the higher the watts (heat) produced by the atty. Joye 510s are only 2.2 ohm, which is why they hit harder on the same PV than say a 901 at 3.5 ohms. This electrical calculator tells you a lot, especially if you're experimenting with... -

1) I'd have to be insane also. What are the odds? ;) 2) Airflow! I've had a love hate relationship with the KR8s for some time. It's the airflow. For me at least, less is much better, even at 5v where I prefer them. Definitely requires some experimentation to find what works best for you, but... -

Agreed. Best improvement in vaping in a long time :thumb: I'm using mine with a 14500 batt and it rocks. Getting smoother and tastier as it breaks in. :p Time will tell on the durability, they seem to be made much like the Joye 510s so hopefully they'll last close to as long as those do. -

What's the deal on these Shawn? All I've been able to gather is that they have a larger bridge. What is the ohm rating on these? Good for dripping, carts, both? In short, compared to a Joye 510, what are they 'expert' at? ;) -

I think the main safety point of these high drain batts is that a) they'll keep up with anything, and b) if you have an atty/switch short the batt can keep up until the spring collapses thereby disconnecting it instead of exploding. Drew hasn't released details yet, but I'm guessing the... -

Yeah, they're tight since they're made to fit a 901 and KR8 as well. I just pulled the stock o-ring off and replaced it with a #60 and they fit perfectly. -
Atomizers are junk
