Well, you're right - more testing is need. Real testing.
I would point out that the gum or lozenge do not produce clouds of vapor which do visibly hang in the air.
Suppose I'm vaping big clouds out of my PV. Which I love to do! :p
It seems reasonable to assume that nicotine is present in...
Way to go people!
A BIG thank you to everyone who attended. :thumb:
Just goes to show that when confronted with real facts, even politicians have to question the wisdom of these bans. ;)
I've had good luck with the LR attys. Just like you were using a regular 510 at 5-6v, you have to keep 'em wet and maybe shorten your button presses a bit. No doubt the extra heat (which is why they vape like 5v!) will shorten their life a bit though.
Hoog said in an email today he had some...
All attys are kinda hit or miss. LR attys are no different.
You have to remember that the whole idea of an LR atty is to create the same watts (heat) that a regular atty does at 5-6v. Anyone who's been vaping for long with a HV device knows that the extra heat will shorten an atty's life...
Instead of speculating, do the experiment and see for yourself, as I did. Use a PT and a 2+amp USB hub. Post the results. You could be famous!
Your next post is right. V=IR. So if your power supply is capable of 2 amps continuous, and your atty (or whatever) only draws 1.5 amps continually...
Very unlikely. If a battery gets hot enough to actually explode (very very rare) you're going to notice your hand is burning before you get the PV up to your mouth!
Hope you feel better soon man.
BTW, Hall's Breezers are great for keeping your throat wet when vaping. Really gets the saliva going. :)
They don't have any menthol or eucalyptus which I personally do NOT like.
Basic law of physics. Test it yourself. Make a resistor rig with an atty to hook up to your passthrough, which is plugged up to a USB port you know will push 5v, and more amps than you need. Test the voltage at the PT adapter, then add the resistor rig and see what voltage you get. It will have...
Wow, shipped yesterday, in the mailbox today!
So far this little thing vapes great. Very well made, smooth threads, nice easy press button. The drip tips work very well also :)
The 3.3 ohm (SLB?) atty that came with it does better at 5v, so I'm switching between a Joye 510, an LR 510, and a...
Man, that's just cold.
Oh well, I really want one with the 5v resistor disk. He's still working on those right? Don't tell me he's got those too and he loves 'em! :(
At least with the cr2s there are some good protected options now. Great with the 510 cartos or a 2.8 - 3.3 ohm 510 atty and the BB.
Disclaimer: AltSmoke DOES NOT RECOMMEND STACKING BATTS!
Very true. Another thing to remember about the LR attys is you have to treat them like a 2.2 ohm Joye you're vaping at 5-6v. They get hot easily, so keep 'em wet, shorter drags, and if you notice them heating up, give 'em a little rest.
And as with any atty - good luck ;)
