ya know.....how cool would it be if they got off their lazy butts and took a picture of the 808 version? It makes no difference. I know what one looks like. But still.....
I had previously assumed that the best way to determine cotton gauze vs latex/polyester was by stretching it as latex and polyester are pretty elastic. But even some cotton gauze is woven with polyester and or latex for a number of reasons including less stick to the wound. The only thing I can...
That's a good idea too. I was thinking a slight overlap and wind it together with wire. I'll have to try next time. Right now I leave the wick long enough for about 5 pulls. After about 6-7 mls, the taste declines and it's time to pull the wick and snip. I figure after about 5 times, the coil...
I've been doing that for a couple weeks now. I leave the wick long on one side and after a refill or two, just pull and snip. The coils don't gunk up the same as with silica. And when I'm at the end of my rope :) the coils dry burn super fast.
It makes some difference on how hot you cook the juice but the more you dry burn and try to keep the coils in pristine condition, the better. I always remove the silicone. You need to keep an eye on what's going on and the quicker you can let those nasty toxic fumes burn away the better. I want...
Don't be afraid of the stealth's. They seem to have the bugs worked out. Consider them version 2 stealths. The only one who still has leds for sale is Rob and he hasn't gotten new stock in in quite some time. Last I looked he still had some 1300s left but better snap them up quick. His 2.5 ohm...
you can also try pulling up on the rubber cap that the tip screws on to. (The part with the metal piece attached.) It can get pushed down to far and pinch the wicks. If you stick a pin in the metal hole, you can wiggle it up a little. While you are there, fluff the wicks a little with the pin...
If you squeeze the nipple side in a pair if needle nose, it cracks.....rotate it 90 and repeat. If you keep the pliers right next to the lip that keeps it in place, it breaks off clean at the base. Haven't widened the silicon because it doesn't matter when the metal piece is reinserted. However...
If it's a quick dry burn to clean it off after you've vaped through it, it should be fine. The bottom line is coils should look nice and white and the coil should glow with no dark spots. It's just easier to get the gunk off if it's been soaked and alcohol helps it sizzle. Use caution when dry...
I still have yet to understand why they changed that old wide top hat to a skinny nipple. I have two from the first batches that I treat like gold. Anyone who has spent any amount of time around pvs knows you don't try to force a lot of vapor through a skinny hole. I search online every now and...
clean all your contact points with alcohol and a hard toothbrush. I've had it happen before and untightening just a little bit sometimes works. Screw it on tight and just back it off a little. Usually it's a sign that the resistance wire isn't making proper contact or it's crossed somewhere...
Mountain Vapor, Northwest Vapors and Cropduster 901 are the best places for the echo. Some of the kits come with dual coils so watch out. Most of us prefer the singles but try both because I don't care for when people try to convince me of something with status quo. All the suppliers are awesome...
Could be meds....could also be vitamin deficiency. Last time it happened to me, someone recommended zinc. I think it worked. Halls makes a cherry mint cough drop with echinacea and zinc. Very good for dry mouth and throat too.
I think maybe the body repairing itself may use up vital nutrients...
Taste bud crisis. It happens. Mostly when new to vaping and taste buds are returning to normal but sometimes from overdoing it. There's a lot of suggestions....vaping unflavored...vaping some menthol for a day or two to reset your palate. Drink lots of water and scrape your tongue when you...
someone just doesn't like the flat tips, I guess. Now I know. Haven't had condensation buildup anymore than usual with the flat tips but I wipe everything out whenever I can.
I was boiling up some new wick and wire and decided to throw one of the awesome echo ce4s from smoktek in. It's gurgly and drippy now and I don't know why. Nothing in there can be melted at waters boiling point. Just a word of caution, I guess. Soaking and dry burning was fine so far for these...
It's all just a ce4+/stardust/turbo.......they have been much improved. Haven't gotten any from nhaler yet to see how they perform but these are in just about every vapers arsenal and they are getting better all the time. Only the flat echo base ones are on sale as far as I know. Seeing as...
I think it's new but I can't be sure. I get logged out all the time. A lot of time in the middle of a post and especially on an active thread but I never noticed. I guess I was just trolling around and didn't realize I was logged out and saw all the links. Logged in to post and they all...
