The Echo Thread - Part 2

As light as you can while still getting it off. It's a knack thing. Figure that it's a wounded soldier anyway hes going to be a trooper and take on for the team. I've dented the inside threads on a few but as long as the two o rings have been there and I can screw the tip on, haven't had issues.

The Echo Thread - Part 2

The silver ring comes off. Some easier than others. Grab the shell firmly and pinch the edge of the silver ring in a pair of needlenose and wiggle/tug. You may need to regrip in a different spot. Nothing ventured nothing gained. I've tried other various methods of getting that o-ring tucked back...

MF, Turbo, style Horizontal Cartomizer for Regulated kr808d battery

Right! They still own the Maxx Fusion brand name....just not the regulated 808 battery everyone refers to. In case anyone gets confused by my post.

    VapingZone Concentrated Alcohol-based Flavors Reviews...

Personally I resisted for a long time, till the party moved over here. Then I felt like that quiet guy....lurking in the corner. I'm too social for that! (My 2000th post in only a few months! You'd have to be galloping around on four legs to beat that!)

MF, Turbo, style Horizontal Cartomizer for Regulated kr808d battery

MF refers to Maxx Fusion which was supposed to be a style exclusive to Bloog but for whatever reason they lost the proprietary rights to it.

    "clearomizer" round up for 808s...

It used to be a universal yes. And 901 attys are amazing for flavor. With the introduction of "sealed" autos, it threw a curve ball. With autos, they need that airflow up the center post to work. Since the "sealed" posts are flat they seal off that airflow. And the batteries don't even activate...

    "clearomizer" round up for 808s...

That's good news. Bloog is about the only one I'm not totally familiar with. Is it the "sealed" center post? The manual though is so he can drip. Even with drip protected autos, I wouldn't do it. Not that I haven't butI have quite a collection so I can afford to live on the edge. :2cool:

    "clearomizer" round up for 808s...

Mah only covers a part of the equation....how long it lasts. For some reason the slim 510s don't hold their voltage as well as a slim 808. You'll still get to use it for about 3 hrs at 280 mah with normal resistance hardware but the power drops quicker. If you look around the forums you won't...

MF, Turbo, style Horizontal Cartomizer for Regulated kr808d battery

Yeah. Don't confuse elite with any type of brand name. The 808 stuff sold at Elite vaporworks is not the same as the 808 stuff sold at cig easy.

The Echo Thread - Part 2

These are the first replaceable coil 510s I've enjoyed. I'm drooling at the bit for them to come out with a version I can put on my echos. I'm willing to bet though that a cone version will be the first 808 style we see. I just posted this in the 808 clearomizer thread... "Seems there is...

The Echo Thread - Part 2

That all makes sense, Lulu. We obviously felt those changes with the decline and return of both the batteries and echomizers. Hopefully this thread and our willingness to be vocal has had an impact with the vendors and manufacturers. I've seen threads where folks are perfectly willing to go down...

    "clearomizer" round up for 808s...

Yep, if you do get a 510 for dripping, you'll want a high mah. The slim 510 has always served as nothing but a stepping stone. They don't even have any drip protected autos, let alone a slim that is powerful and long lasting. The thing too is that I've tried just about every high mah non vv 510...

Does anyone make a mass marketed VV 808?

Well....they are married to the 808 horizontal coil hardware which is only good between 3.6 and 4 volts. Even the x2 seems to be designed to convince their customers that fat bats are big and bulky and should be used at home so they will continue to use the slims. So yeah....we'll see if the...

    The eGo/Echo Kuwako Thread

They seem like nice "echo" style batteries but I can't believe for a second that they are 5v. It's not possible with batteries that size and if you boosted them somehow, they'd be bigger and wouldn't last too long.

    "clearomizer" round up for 808s...

I don't want to think about how sales of 901 attys went down when 808s switched over to "sealed" center posts. And Kanger (who is the Kr in kr808) is putting more effort in developing 510 hardware these days. The only thing 808s have over 510 is a better auto...whether it's a 180mah or a...

    "clearomizer" round up for 808s...

Stardust is the name given by a certain vendor to the vision ce4. You can look for ce4. If it's cone threaded it's usually labeled for vgo. If it has a flat connection it's usually labeled for echo and is also called the iTurbo. It will work on your battery because it's an 808 connection but...

    The eGo/Echo Kuwako Thread

If the ST auto ego is any good, I'll be trying the t2 in the kuwako. I will admit it looks gigantic on a 650 battery but hopefully the kuwako balances that out.

    The eGo/Echo Kuwako Thread

I dislike almost every new 510 clearo I've tried. Each one has one major flaw. They fix one flaw and create another to the point it seems like they do it on purpose. But these t2s are a winner. There is a slight metallic/plastic taste that takes a bit to go away but there is no break in. It...
