Mini or Standard
I currently have a full size Provari and use it primarily in short mode. I find a 18490 will last easily through my workday, and I'm never far from an extra battery or a charger (I have a Pila with a car adapter for road trips). I prefer the smaller size so much that I just ordered a White... -
I see too many "don't want to take Provari to work" threads

Cleaning coils
I use 28 gauge Kanthal and find it to last much longer than the 34/32/30 gauge, probably due to it being thicker stronger wire. To clean I just use a cheap $1 toothbrush and brush the coil/wick, I empty the remaining ejuice (if any) and dry burn at a low voltage until the wick is dry and all... -
Coil deterioration issues
If you are getting a burnt taste with a genesis atty usually a hot spot is the culprit. A perfectly firing coil at low voltages may have a hot spot you can't/won't see until you up the voltage. I can wrap coils at 1.2 ohms and push almost 5 volts with no burnt taste no matter the juice. -
Why the DUD over the DID
I have 2 Provari's a normal and a mini. On my Normal I have a DID, rocking a 1.2 ohm coil and pushing 4.0 volts, nice solid vape. On my Mini I have a ZAP, running a 1.4 ohm coil and 4.4 volts, again great vape. Out of the two of them, I prefer the ZAP, mainly for aesthetics as both of them... -
Re-Built my first cartomizer.
Cleaning and reusing something that costs less than a dollar... I wouldn't clean a carto, just throw it away and buy some more.- Zenataos

Vape Kits: what do you carry with you daily?
Provari + ZAP Combo, filled before I leave the house. Nothing else. If I'm going away for over a day, I take an extra 18650 and a bottle of juice, other than that, I don't need anything.- Zenataos

I dropped my Satin Black Provari with my ZAP on the concrete outside yesterday. It wasn't until I got inside that I realized the quartz tank had split, a single line running right from bottom to top, I tried using it as is but the gap was too large and it was sucking air in and killing the vapor...- Zenataos

getting frustrated:(
3 volts on a vmax is more like 4.5+ volts. I find if you make the legs of your wire come off the wick at a sharp corner it will prevent getting hot legs. -
High Resistance Rebuildable
Buzz has things a little backwards, higher ohms will draw a lower amperage. Lower ohms put more stress on the battery.- Zenataos

What's the best PV to take to work?
I don't think anything that uses an 18650 is really pocket size. A device with an 18650 can only be at most marginally larger than the battery. If you are looking for something small and high quality I would suggest a Provari Mini, grab a couple extra 18350's and use it in Mini-mode, with a...- Zenataos

Between 3 and 6 ohms?? If you have a VV device I don't see the point. Of you have a mechanical mod, again I don't see the point, unless you are stacking batteries which I don't advise. If you have to get a higher resistance use thinner wire, like kanthal 36. I find trying to raise...- Zenataos
