Time for a high end mec
I vote for VapeHead Origins (perhaps a Cronus?). I've been a fan ever since I accidentally vaped a battery in my Titan down to 3.2 volts without noticing a difference, which to me is amazing. They have a new mod and rebuildable atomizer coming out that I'm eagerly waiting for. :-) -

I'm rocking my Kayfun 3.1 on my Provari as I type this. Possibly my favorite atomizer system, besides drippers. I also have a Russian 91%, and will be using it as soon as I get a higher ohm coil on it. Either one, you can't go wrong! -

An easier way to "age" brass is to put it in a container with some ammonia solution. Make sure it is raised, like on a mini platform, with the ammonia around the bottom, so that only the fumes hit the brass, and seal the container. This is a case where the longer you wait, the more the brass... -

Need advice on current A7 rebuild
No, keep the cotton through the coil. Poor airflow usually results in too much throat hit, so I doubt it's that. When you tested the coil, did it light up nice and evenly? Also, what device are you using it on? I'd say try a microcoil out. It doesn't look like one from your pictures, but... -

In all honesty, there aren't that many cheap rebuildables made for bottom feeding. You'll want something with side airflow, so you can at least drill it out. Your best option might just be a Reomizer, from Reos Mods. It's not stainless steel, which is what I usually prefer, but for a bit less...- Richard75

Kayfun Lite Clone way too Harsh!?!?
My Kayfun 3.1 and Russian 91% gives awesome throat hit, even at 12mg and about 1 ohm. But chances are, with your setup, there's an issue with airflow. Open up your Kayfun (clone) and make sure the coil is directly on top of the air hole. If it has adjustable airflow, you can open it up a little... -

The 4-post design of the Helios is patented... but that didn't stop China (or even America!) from ripping it off. And it's not even like it's an "amazing innovation", it's just a really good idea, and VHO deserves credit.
