    How to combat Vaper's Tongue

Thanks tmbridge for this thread, and thanks, The Ocelot, for the link. (Command+D) This has hit me a time or two, also. I find it odd that it only seemed to affect my vaping and not food. Nonetheless, the tips are definitely appreciated. :)

How to determine optimal voltage and/or wattage based on resistance when using an VV/VW Device.

There's actually a chart showing all of that. (I have it but think it's too big to put in the post. Google "vaping power chart".) I'm no expert, but I think most people just adjust to taste.

    just started, hooked already!

Congrats! And yes, it can definitely become an obsession. I'm still waiting to see all the money I'll be saving by giving up cigarettes. LOL This is infinitely more fun than smoking, though, not to mention all the other benefits.

    WHY did you start vaping?

I was an insane smoker, 3 packs a day and more on weekends, especially if alcohol was involved. I'd been a "serial quitter" for many years, and even made it almost tow years one time. My problem wasn't quitting; it was staying that way. I'd been curious about e-cigs but didn't try them until...

What Flavor Are you Vaping Right Now?

    Red Bull. 'Love this stuff.

Dual coil cartos vs single coil/

I started out with those and had decent luck at first. Of the two I'm using now one tastes like it's burning the juice (yes, it's full) and the other one is giving me almost zero vapor. Not sure what's up with all that. Also not sure I'll be buying any more of them. I've had good luck so...

    Volt

I rock the Volt at work and I like it. I wish that had been the cig-a-like that I found first. They have sampler packs, which I'd recommend [after learning the hard way]. Just ordered some more RY4 and a "smooth sampler pack" from them a bit ago. I like their vanilla and RY4 the best so far...

    Vaping in public- style?

I'm still pretty new to vaping, but so far, aside from the gym, I've been vaping wherever I want. Once in a while someone will look at me funny, depending on what I'm using at the time. If it happens to be on one of those occasions that my jacket and shirt ride up and I fail to check for it...

How to clean Dripping Atty ?

I mix also, but once in a while clean mine by soaking them overnight in the cheapest, nastiest, rot-gut vodka I could find. Blow it out, let it dry overnight, good to go.

Brand New & Ready to Learn

Welcome and congrats! Going from smoking to vaping, for me, wasn't quitting anything, really. It was upgrading.

What to do with my old Blu e-cigs?

I held on to mine for a couple of weeks and then trashed them, simply because I couldn't think of anyone I hated enough to pawn them off on. While my first kit (Optima) wasn't stellar by any stretch of the imagination, had Blu been my first e-cig I'd have stuck with analogs forever. To me...

Hey, who put pepper in my juice!?

I'm glad I read this post because it gave me an idea for a prank. :)

What brand did you smoke before you switched to electronic cigarettes?

I've smoked a few brands over the years, but my last preferred was Marlboro Lights. Once I moved to Indiana and found that a carton was about $15 more than in Missouri I switched to Pall Mall Blue. I once returned from KC with 8 cartons of Marlboro Lights.

    Steeping Instructions?

I've heard of this a bit but have never intentionally steeped any of mine. I have noticed that the older ones I have seem to taste better, though. I'm going to have to look into this ultrasonic cleaner, too. I have patience issues with things like that.

Just got lectured by Security guy at airport to quit my E-Cig...

I think being a jerk is in fact a requirement, for most federal agencies. Right there with ya on the flying, too.

now that you vape, do you put it down?

I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who uses that term. I'm a serial vapist. "Vapor" and "vaper" sound identical, but "vapist" doesn't sound even remotely like anything else. ;)

Just got lectured by Security guy at airport to quit my E-Cig...

I'm fairly certain that I would've done a, "Oh, that's impressive. Now tell me about all the terrorists you've stopped." I'm a Liberty activist so I won't even get started on the TSA.

How old are you and how long did you smoke

46 and started at 12, so 34 years, much of which I was a "serial quitter".

Made sense to quit from NYC

I concur. Being smoke-free is a monumental win no matter how one goes about it.
