In short, yes. It all depends on where the button is on the tube mod. Top button - it'll drain. Bottom button, it won't. So, Silver Bullet - drain, GGTS/XHaler/Precise - no drain -
Janty Neo Classic New Product "Back To The Basics"
Somebody took a drag off mine today, and said that, throathit-wise, whereas some might "hit the spot" the Neo strokes the lot. I like "elegant" too - it's refined, but definite, backs up the flavour nicely... Beyond that, it's so personal it's hard to be completely objective.- hifistud

That said, it could be because the flavour is just gorgeous, and it produces like a steam train wherever I've had the ring/not had the ring. I'll just echo what Mik's said about the possibility of the filling flap opening by accident - the likelihood, although there, is very slim - you've got to really get your nail under the flap to open it, so it's not likely to be an issue.
