I have put all kinds of metal vaporizers in the microwave, some of them quite big like the Echo Carto. As long as they are under water (I make sure there is at least one inch of water over them) and there has never been a hint of a light show. :) Thank your for the Wizard analogies, I think... -

Not sure about every VV unit on the market but most of them will tell you how low you can discharge the batteries by shutting down and if I'm not mistaken that's a lot higher than 2.5v, probably much closer to your 3.4/3.5v. :) Errol -

I find that boiling the coils in 3/4 cup of water in the microwave for about two or three minutes gets most of the gunk off of the coils. I don't use any exotic niquids so my coil may not get as gunked up as some do. Errol -

There aren't many PVs that will power 1.5ohm DC cartos at 4.73v, certainly not the LT V1. I run my 1.5ohm at 5v all the time, sometimes over as they get older. I wouldn't pay much attention to a lot of the danger rumors going around. Best thing to do is ask, just as you have done. :) Errol -
