    That is a good choice. I am in the UK and have a Semovar, it is a very nicely engineered piece. Cloud 9 are a good company to deal with too.

    You can just turn the disc under the top cap to shorten the centre pin. This will give more support if you drop the device. I generally start with the centre pin on minimum, add the tank flush then just tighten the centre pin up to meet the tank.
