Stormy you are faaast with getting your orders out! I've ordered twice and both times the products shipped within an hour after ordering. Once my Term-C gets here, I'll be able to tinker a bit with the original and the "C" :)
All my fluids are VG with a small amount of PG from the flavors I use. I'm vaping on 2mm cotton candle wick with a short piece "stacked" on top. (See my previous pics in this thread). Wicking so well, that I can only open up the mouthpiece 1/2 to 3/4 of a turn.
Fresh cotton wicks will be *very*...
So far my Term has been working great. My only real complaint is not being able to see my fluid levels... I cured that by ordering a Terminator-C :). I have noticed that the Term will occasionally leak at the bottom o-ring. This doesn't happen until the 3-4 day of use. I suspect this is due...
You know, after having a day to think about it, I do have ONE complaint. Not the Provari itself, but the extension cap: the base of the cap is not as wide as the standard cap and this makes it more prone to falling over. There, I found something to complain about; I feel better :)
I've had mine about 4 months now. I can't think of a single thing that I could complain about. I do recall thinking the button press was a bit stiff, but realized that it's the perfect resistance for the weight of the unit. It felt heavy compared to my eGo 510 passthrough for the obvious...
Yeah, we try to be as safe as we can, but short of picking it off the plant and rolling it, I don't think we'll be able to be completely non-toxic. That said, I still think it's safer than silica :)
I purchased just about every Vivi made from them, including the "Hyper SRT II", which vaped really well; just didn't last more than 2 weeks. Bought a second SRT for my father who'd been buying from them before I was even into vaping. His fell apart after 14 days. I noticed the Hyper SRT II...
I had the same experience with mine that you have. I just made a new batch of juice and I dropped the nic down another 2mg to keep my head from exploding :) I'm in the same boat with you on the clear tank. I also noticed it is more efficient with the use of juice compared to the other RBAs I have.
I agree with you on the extra heating concern. I tried with and without NR and so far not much of a difference overall. I'm not suggesting everyone should do it the way I am. This is what works for me, and I have plenty of o-rings :)
I'm getting excellent results with cotton square-braid #1/0 (2mm dia) wick. I run the one main wick with a short piece on top, then wrap them both together. The first wick I got five days out of, but then burnt it due to empty tank (lol).
Keep the wraps closer to the center than shown in...
This thread got busy while I was away :)
@ chet: See Charlie's remark about cotton: #4054. Bottom line: Most think it's safe, but we won't really know until more research is done. The odds are in our favor though :)
@ Nadine: Here you can see the coil wire inside the ceramic channel with the...
Now in to the fourth day the cotton wick is starting to fade. Still getting good hits, but the taste is a bit muted compared to the previous days. I went through about 12-14 ml chain vaping like mad; abusing it to see if I could get dry/burn hits. I did finally get a dry hit yesterday ...
One last ditch effort if your mini is gurgling and leaking out the bottom is to have a look up inside the mouthpiece. There you may find a second silicon grommet/seal. If the tank is leaking at the seams, I'm afraid I can't help you there :(
