If I could have got my hands on a real Ody, I would have. That said, This is the best vape I've experienced to date. I use #1/0 cotton wick and 32awg kanthal (no nr wire). No hot spots (I keep the wire under the cotton in the channel) It wicks like mad at 1/2 to 3/4 turns. In addition to the main long wick, I cut a short piece (the width of the ceramic cup) and place it on top then wrap the two with 4 turns. I make sure that the ends of the wire start and stop on the low side so they run UNDER the wick down the channels. My final ohm rating is 2.8. First pull is a bit weak, then every vape after is insane good. I chain like mad; take slow hits, fast ones.. doesn't matter. The Provari's 16 second auto shut off kicks in, or my head kicks out from the nic. But the terminator just keeps going.

Yep, it happens to me too, and from what I've read its pretty common. Screwing the top cap down causes pressure that forces the juice out. I just blow into the 510 end and blow the excess juice out the mouthpiece into a kleenex and it's good to go. Happens on Penelope also.

If you are using that little 1.5 silica wick(I think) with the little coil on it take that out and do what ever with it, that is a wick that would come with a Phoenix or something(worthless there to) At minimum use 2 mm and double it up under coil , make it just like in Igetcha69's Oddy review and you will be pleased with it

interesting, so your wire heats the entire length of not only the top but down the ceramic channels? might give that a go!

The sole reason for using NR wire is so it doesn't heat the area that not in the coil/air stream. If it works good without NR, it would probably work noticeably better with it. You could get away with not using NR on the negative side but it sure isn't a very long piece required for that side.

Now in to the fourth day the cotton wick is starting to fade. Still getting good hits, but the taste is a bit muted compared to the previous days. I went through about 12-14 ml chain vaping like mad; abusing it to see if I could get dry/burn hits. I did finally get a dry hit yesterday .... because the tank was empty. After that the wick started fading. Oh well, guess I'll make have to make another. I'm going to re-use the Kanthal to see how long it goes before failure.

@ dwcraig1 You may be right; The NR that I have is too large to run in the channels with the wicking. I'm insanely impressed with no NR, and rest assured I'll be trying with once it gets here.... but I'm in no hurry to do so I suspect that warming the wick is making the fluid flow better. Jury is still out...

Here is what I have bought for "emergency" NR, I use silver normally. I went down to Home Depot and bought 1 foot of lamp cord, it's the one with the clear insulation, the wire inside is nickle coated copper, seem to work just fine. The strands are quite thin, depending on your load it may be good to twist two strands together. One foot should last me for years.

Next up, I tried silica inside a small piece of stainless. This has great promise as it worked pretty good, I torched the coil while maintaining tension on the wrap so it would be tight enough when installed. I had to think about that for a little while.

Next up, I made a coil with 3.5 mm silica with a little short piece of 3.5 silica added under the coil (7 mm inside coil, 3.5 down the channels) This is OK but I get great success with a singe piece. My channels have been widened to accept 3.5 mm.

These are 2 pieces at the mouthpiece ring. I checked the remaining stock and had a few that I thought were one but sure enough they came off. They are VERY tight and you can't even see the line but it's there. Good machining, I can tell you that.

Hello everyone, I just wanted to reassure everyone that the Terminator is the most amazing atty along with my Odysseus. I apparently got the one in a million odd ball out of the bunches. Stormy got back to me right away , as usual. Stormys is the best. They have always taken that extra time to give their customers that personal touch.

I had no worries about this , not for a moment. I knew that whatever happened, it would all work out. I didnt post anything here because I didnt want to worry anyone about the integrity of the Term and most of all Stormys outstanding reputation.

SO Please enjoy the 2nd ( Ody is neck and neck) best Atomizer money can buy. ( in my honest opinion)

I got my NR in, and after building a few coils and testing, I actually prefer without... go figure

Since we're on the subject, it seems to me that you want to make sure that the splices are not in the channels on the top of the ceramic and especially not in the bend where the channel make the bend from the top to the side. Either in the cup next to the coil or after the bend on the side is what I recommend. Try to keep the splices as short and flat as possible. Oh, why, less flooding

Splice completely inside the cup is best, IMO
