Yeppers, I'm in RC and more than happy to assist you anyway I can - once you get over 15 posts here you can start using pm and I can meet you anywhere in RC and answer questions for you and get you started with rebuilding or diy at your request
Hey Manbear, welcome to the ECF and sorry about your loss. I have the Vamo v2 (2 actually) and the sigelei Zmax3 and actually prefer the sigelei as a carry around mod (I can telescope it down for 18350 if I am out and about). I am (unfortunately) naturally paranoid about people stealing it when...
Hey MWdrift - welcome to the ECF - sounds like you are in the RC area (TKO reference). I am coming up on my 1 year vaperasary and have some experience with most styles of vape gear (mods, mechs, RDAs, RBAs (including rebuilding Protank single coil heads) and DIY) so if you have any questions and...
I agree with Say10 - before jumping on the "you were ripped off" bandwagon all components of the purchase need to be listed
ie: Vamo, charger, 2 batteries off most US based websites would be in the $70-90 range with no instructions and no easy fall back if there is an issue with it not working...
my experiences
Aga-t - leaks like a sieve if not kept upright at all times
kayfun lite + clone (similar to the Russian 91) leaks if vacuum is broken slightly
protank 1 with an aerotank base - no leaks at all
my 2 cents
I agree with Denvap0r, it seems like 12 wraps on a 16ga needle is going to be too big and when you tighten it down it is compressing something causing the short to the side wall of your atty head - try 30 or 32 ga kanthal with fewer wraps for better results in the smaller heads and use the 28ga...
I am going to assume you are using a mechanical
low ohms at 4 volts (I will use 4 volts as the base line for this)
4 volts @ .9 ohms = 17.77778 watts
4 volts @ 1.3 ohms = 12.30769 watts
4 volts @ 1.5 ohms = 10.66667 watts
4 volts @ 1.8 ohms = 8.88889 watts
4 volts @ 2 ohms = 8 watts
4 volts @...
the reason you can not edit posts after 24 hours is to keep continuity in the original post
People read old posts all of the time (I get likes on one of my stupid jokes from over 2 months ago still)
I try to only edit to correct spelling so peeple dunt relize I be unedgycated or to add extra...
Vuze is owned by big tobacco and currently is only available in CO
I have some Halo G6's I started with and liked and my stepmother has Volt which she likes
only downside is the 808 threading but once they upgrade to an ego style battery (but not the Halo Triton which uses the 808 and VGO...
My MVP1 stays green until I unplug the cord - It takes about 3 hours to charge fully from a wall charger
Remember that Li-Ion batteries have no memory effect so you can unplug from the charger whenever you want (but don't leave plugged in for weeks on end)
Hopefully you did thoroughly clean your new RDA's before using. It seems none of the manufacturers can be bothered to clean the machining oil completely off of their devices before shipping out.
The airflow on these devices is different from what you are used to also which I have discovered...
the actual absorption of nic from vaping (and probably the Nicorette also) is about 25 to 33% less than actual smoking so I would not think there are any worrys
also you are spreading it out of the entire day so it does have a chance to leave your system
Trust me you will know if you over do...
Here is what I got into with in the first 3 months of my starting vaping (* items are from month 4 to now)
2 vamo's
1 MVP1
*1 Zmax 3
*1 Nzonic mech
2 Ego Twists 650mah
2 Ego 350mah (1 is always in my pocket - just in case - remember high school and that ring imprint on your wallet)
1 Ego...
the delay may be from the gauge wire you are using. 28 gauge kanthal is beefy wire and does take a bit to heat up on regulated devices (most regulated devices have a low amp limit to protect the batteries and 1.3 ohm is the low end of most allowed resistances - low ohm builds are mainly for...
The burnt taste in cartomizers is mainly from a dry hit (it may not recover from this - sorry) did you make sure you primed the carto with your eliquid before inserting it in your carto tank? you always want to make sure the carto is completely filled with eliquid before inserting it in the tank...
I use from .6 to 3mm silica - just depends on how many strands you thread through the coil
2mm is the easiest to work with for the way I build coils and I just use a double strand through the coil
if braided silica is an option where you order get it as it is easier to work with
