It seems there is no way to edit post now. I was sure I did once or twice and now there is no option too. What gives?

I see I can edit the above post. Don't know if it is because I started the thread or only an option is certain sections of the forum?
Might just be a glitch while they're putting the finishing touches on the server migration.
For my KARMA: I have edited new posts (24 hours or less) in the past, added to other threads. Have edited brand new-fresh posts as well (since the maint. yesterday).
I added this just after posting, to check. will come back after 24 hrs to see if I can still edit.

the reason you can not edit posts after 24 hours is to keep continuity in the original post
People read old posts all of the time (I get likes on one of my stupid jokes from over 2 months ago still)
I try to only edit to correct spelling so peeple dunt relize I be unedgycated or to add extra info to a post that I might of missed
(or the 1 time my photo hosting site got hacked and my special smileys got replaced with porn )
