Old e juice tasting worse than new

So I've been very addicted to NLV Gold as an ADV. I've been noticing in this past week that the taste has been quite dull. Not necessarily bad, but not nearly as delicious as it should be. So I cracked open a new bottle of it and BAM! That's the flavor I'm looking for!

I haven't really done much with steeping, but do flavors tend to calm over time? I'm trying to think and I may have poured some back in from the tank once, but it would've been a very small (almost pointless to salvage) quantity.

Using a protank 2, vamo V5, cotton wicks on normal coil, ranging from 1.5-2.8ohm.

How old was it? I read that Liquid nicotine has about a shelf life of only 12 months when kept chilled - shorter if kept at room temperature. Also, do you shake the liquid each time before pouring it to make sure everything is mixed? I've heard that the ingredients can separate and that you should shake well before using.

I've got some flavors I received in mid-January that taste like nothing now.

Now that I think about it, the juices I got in that order (which was my first order as a noob) were good, very "mature", out of the mailbox... no steeping needed with them.

It makes me wonder how long they'd been sitting around at the supplier's warehouse before I bought them. They were from a company that's much better known for their cigalike kits than for their juice.

This juice was probably only a month old.i'm thinking I may try and revive it by trying to mix something else into it, maybe some strong vanilla type juice.

Also now that I think of it, my bottle of bounty hunter has sort of gotten a bit "stale" recently. Maybe these liquids are just better when they're fresh?
