    Thanks! I used a multimeter and was getting an reading of about 1.5 ohms which I know is kinda low and the center pin is fine because 1) I just got the spinner yesterday and 2) other tanks work fine on it! I think Kemosabe might be on to something.

    I'm kinda new to the RBA's. how do you check for shorts? Don't think there are shorts cause the rba works on my small ego batteries. By center pin you mean inside the threads where the rba connects to the battery? Pretty sure that's fine.
