By shorts I mean using a multi-meter you can get a good reading from the RBA and if you touch the leads (Positive to center/Negative(ground) to outside threads) it reads an Ohms?
What I mean about the stuck center pin is sometimes people over crank down on their tanks, atty's, etc and the center pin on the eGo's get pushed down into the battery housing. Depending on what you use this may or may not make contact the next time and the battery will look as if it's firing but it won't activate the device. This is because the center pin isn't making contact with the device's center pin. It's a common issue at times. There are video's and threads here about how to get that center positive pin on the battery back up so it makes contact.
