    Do you know what version of the ZMax you have? I got mine from Varitube too and I asked them specifically if it would fit Kangers without any issues. I guess the newest "revision" of the V2 has a larger top opening so that the T2/T2/Evods will fit without any issues. Mine seems to be working...

    Have you looked into an RSST by Smoktech? I've read that it is much easier for beginners to coil and wick versus the AGA series.

    Where did you purchase it from? I've had my Vamo for a couple of weeks now and I don't think mine ever goes into a "sleep" mode. Perhaps the vendor would be willing to exchange it?
