The REO Lounge - Part III

Thanks Lisa. My first real homemade onion soup. BTW.. Lisa, you know about my extreme sensitivities to flavorants. Tongue, throat, lips swelling. Butterscotch, DIY or vendor purchase is the ONLY flavor I can count on to not cause reaction. Hugs, Alice DH just said, "very good soup Julia!"...

Yes, used Beef BTB for first time for stock. It's great. Flash makes it look lighter. I used corn starch and butter for slight thickening. Will serve with GF bread rounds toasted with olive oil. Only have swiss cheese but not complaining. Sent from my SPH-P500 using Tapatalk 2

The REO Lounge - Part III

Just started Cowboys/Giants game. Three interceptions by Cowboys in 1st quarter. Murray firts 1st down. Onion soup finished but serving properly later. It's really good. I used this recipe, a Julie Childs's recipe for pressure cooker. Had white wine but no cognac...

The REO Lounge - Part III

I did some chicken breast in crockpot the other night with bbq sauce and they turned out pretty good. They would have been better if my homemade sauce was better. I browned the breast a bit first. Don't know if necessary, though. I threw in some bbq pork ribs that needed more slow cooking. They...

DH frequently plays GC Youtubes. He is still one of our favorite persons. Living with DH is very much the experience of GC as seen on stage. Life is not sweet and simple, most of the time. DH balances my Eternal Optimist Goofy. Feisty Alice Sent from my SPH-P500 using Tapatalk 2

Thanks and thanks and more. Really appreciate the tips. I'm a near raw meat eater and DH likes medium. I prefer to see red juice on plate sopped up by a piece of toast; now days mostly GF. 10 lbs onions down and 10 more to go. Onion oil used to be one of the main triggers for my migraines...

Poor poor T. I really feel for you. It's bad enough just having to go to dentist for anything let alone so much at one time and complications. If it helps any I see orthodontist Wed. Last appointment I got to experience his sadistic side. This time taking a pain pill before appt. Big Hugs...

I had two simple clear pyrex on two RM2s, in a paper bowl, sitting too close to fresh grated parmesan, on kitchen counter the other night. Dog with Wings, Moe Doodle, pulled RM2 bowl off counter. Believe me I know just how far back to put things back, I THOUGHT!!! He continues to surprise me...

The REO Lounge - Part III

Of course any respectable Texan has to love our poor Cowboys and Texans but the first team Texans wooped a** on the 2nd string Cowboys last week. So It's anybodies guess how tonight will go Giants at Cowboys. Going to delay watching so won't be in Lounge for fear of game discussion. It's a small...

    stupid coil question...

I have a 30 ga microcoil on my workhorse Mini 2.0 that has been going about 6 weeks. And it's the coil I back wrapped a couple loops as experiment. It gets a dryburn and rewick with cotton at least every two days. Beyond impressive!!!!!! It's about 1.5-1.6 ohms if that makes any difference...

    stupid coil question...

My juices gunk coils pretty fast. Sometimes I can go over a day without dryburning but the norm is daily, especially if I'm using only one REO. Some things that help.. - Pull as much of cotton wick out as possible without disturbing the coil. (30 ga Kanthal and thicker hold form better than 32...

Yes, the RM2 really is THAT good

Yeah, that's what I plan to do. Give Robert exact ID of smallest catchcup and also depths of some as they do vary. It is much more work and expense having so many :o catchcups worked on or replaced in addition to sending so many Woodvils off into the sometimes black hole of any delivery system...
