Why not just purchase 5 ml Syringes with Blunt Tip Fill Needles, 10 pack?? I used to worry about draining my kayfun tanks... Now, its done in a matter of seconds. Sitting in my office & takes 1 paper towel, just to wipe my finger prints off the mod. I do still use a rubber band, over the air... -

If that is a cotton wick, looks a bit much. Have you tried a little less cotton? I have mine set up 30g kanthal 8 wraps on a 1/16 drill bit. Cotton wicks, just touching the floor, over the fluid channels. Also you might want to raise your coil. Mine is level with the screws, like 1.5-2mm over... -

Ok since i have this here & a little free time. Ran it threw my UC, dried every thing off. Put the SOV glass kit on my Kayfun lite base. removed the bottom fill hole & WOW, syringe fits perfect. So this will bottom fill perfectly, guess my T glass kit will take a back seat. Picture is the fill... -

I have my SOV kit sitting here ready to get installed. Can you use the bottom fill hole???????? Also the 22mm tank sections i have found here Kayfun Long Hybrid Tank they also have nano clear tanks. I have been able to hold off setting up my SOV tank, since i got a paps Heron this week... -

Yaa, Chad.. nudged me to rebuild due to your post. I had a tight cotton wick, just not tasting right, burnt. 5 minutes to pop the tank, cut a smaller cotton wick & wow.. This Heron is so simple to maintain & set up. Great performance since its arrival 29 hours ago. I am almost done with 30ml... -
