Began with a Mech Mod, next Kgo, Twist, Spinner, Provari, next a bunch of VV/ VW APVs...and the list goes on and on. I got into VV/ VW cuz I needed more power as I was lowering my Nic level. Worked out perfectly.
If I had to do it all over again knowing what I now know and what's available I'd...
That's the juice "gunking up" on the coil. Washing "may" help but washing and dry burn will turn the gunk into ash. Darker and or high VG ratio juices will gunk a coil fairly quickly.
As for the wicks they're silica and are impossible to burn in your Ecig.
Compliments of Chrissie here's a link to reputable U.K. Vendors with discount codes. Note also at top of page a link to a map of B&M Shops:

Hi and welcome to ECF. Clearomizers are great but do need some maintenance. Washing cleans the tank and wick and dry burning removes the "gunk" from the coil- rinse head in water after dry burn.
Once you get your problem sorted out this will all be a bad dream. At least you're on the right track.
Wishing You the Best of Luck.
P.S. I run a non profit vape prog and for the first year+ did all the mixing myself. Every single bottle was labelled and all batches were tested. Everyone knew...
Standards in the industry are either 70/ 30 or 80/ 20 PG/ VG. If the Vendor doesn't know the PG/ VG ratio it sounds like they have quality control issues and I'd be very wary of buying their juice.
NOT saying you have the same issue but I found I was allergic/ sensitive to Ethyl Maltol- a sweetener used by Vendors. I got mouth ulcers and became very, very itchy. Gave it to a friend and no more problems. He vaped it all without issue. As Racehorse has suggested try non flavored or buy some...
I also vape organic cotton yarn but also know it's been sterilized/ bleached with peroxide. I boil my cotton 2 X 15 minutes. After each boil I hold the yarn down on the bottom of the pot and gently run water into the pot to wash out the top layer of whatever is there. Realize the body does...
When I began I vaped 8 ml X 36 mg juice per day. Now, depending on the situation, anywhere from 1 to 6 ml per week as I now vape for taste, social gatherings and stress related situations.
You're welcome. After awhile if you want to save even more $$ you can rebuild your own heads- whether you do it sooner or later don't toss your old heads out. Here's a link and the only thing different I do is torch the wire before installing. Can also use diff materials for wick. I like cotton...
After dry burning rinse the ash form the coil in water. As for the VapenJuice Vanilla if it has a perfumey smell/ taste it may need to be steeped. Also those clearos are top coil- occasionally you'll need to tilt the clearo horizontally to keep the wicks/ coil wet otherwise you'll get a weak...
Glad it's going so well
I don't use the Evods but they can be maintained. My heads (wick+ coil) last 10 weeks with maintenance. High VG and/ or dark juice will clog the coil quicker. You'll know when it's time to clean the head when fresh juice goes dark after filling the tank or the...
Efest used to good but somewhere along the way they fell off the tracks- some reporting they don't seem to be holding up as well as other batts. I know at one point they were very popular and therefore the most counterfeited battery around. As for my personal choice I like Panasonic or AW-...
I'm really hoping to NOT end up being a collector, which is part of the reason I'm really trying to find something I'm going to be happy with from the beginning to the end.
Have a been a volunteer addiction counselor for well over 10 yrs. It's part and parcel of an addiction to be looking for...
Have seen and bought many starter kits and usually they all have a "weak" link/ low quality parts. For all the China bashing the best kit I ever bought was from Fasttech- A Vamo V3, Nitecore Charger and 2 great Panasonic batteries- $57.00 incl delivery. Also bought another 8 Panasonic batts for...
It's a good choice and if you tire of the Provari it does holds its value quite well. As far as Provape and its Fanboys I'm really not impressed with some of the low quality garbage they sell- chargers, clones, certain batteries. Did you know that the much hyped "AW" battery is run by one...
You're welcome. I sold the Provari because I had a budget and wanted to get other "toys". If buying the ZMAX make absolutely sure it's the Sigelei zmax. The SmoTech Zmax is a poor imitation and doesn't have the same quality. Realize the Zmax has a lower quality chip in it than the MVP 2. MVP 2...
