Thanks. I actually have this saved as a screenshot and I know the batteries I'm thinking of getting are both recommended here but I'm unsure whether I will need VTC4's (30A) or 25R's (20A) based on the mod I'll be buying and my vaping style.- Waxxiii

New to rebuilding: what am I doing wrong?
This makes sense. I think I must have wicked a little too heavy because I'm getting some dry hits. I cut the wick down a little but I didn't actually re-wick. It's slightly better in terms of dry hits but no change with the sizzling noise. I am also noticing that the vapour production is pretty...- Waxxiii

New to rebuilding: what am I doing wrong?
That's odd. I used 24 gauge, 8 wraps around a 2.5 coil jig and the resistance is coming out at .77. In fact steam engine is coming out with the same results too. It is a single coil by the way.- Waxxiii

At the time I didn't have a PayPal as I was having some trouble with my account. The alternative was to fill in a form along with photographic identification (I think I must be hte only person on the planet without any) and have somebody 'vouch' for you. Something like that? Aaaah, so I would be better with a 28 gauge with 5 wraps maybe? In fact, no, that doesn't make sense because my surface area would be even smaller. What would you suggest assuming I'm after anywhere between .6 and .8? I seem to enjoy the single coil for flavour but i'm open to other build...- Waxxiii

I hardly ever get a good flavour from my vape, please help!
Sorry to jump in here. I'm new to rebuilding and I'm wondering how the amount of wraps affect flavour? Why would 4 wraps not be enough? I have a ton to learn. -
