I've got all my o-rings, I think the issue was that I started wrapping my positive wires around the post twice, which is pushing down on the o-ring and deforming it a bit, so it would leak out the bottom, very slowly but it would be a little wet every now and then. Seems to have stopped with... -

I think I solved my leaking issue, I only wrapped the positive post wire once like I used to and didn't screw the rebuildable part in so hard.. Seems to be fine now! -

I got silica through the ekowool, I'm sure you can get cotton hemp through.. What I did was I put the ekowool on a needle and then taped the end of the silica really tight so the diameter was as small as possible, then taped that to the end of the hollow needle and just pulled the ekowool over... -

Yeah I agree, at least with my experience also. I had many positive experiences but it just wasn't consistent enough for me. Ah thanks gtbb, I do have a friend who used to weld, so maybe he can help me out. I probably won't need it for a while but it's good to know! I'll just keep sanding the blocks a little but when they get gunked with metal or whatever is happening. Maybe it's the instant heat from the wires... -
My Ody is stuck
I never did dual coils on an Ody, but ever since I went to my dual coils on Ithaka I don't think I could ever go back to single coil. Definitely worth it Stormy! -

Interesting. What were the specifics of your build? I'm still a little unsure, but I think I will try 3 strands of yarn per coil. Maybe wrap the coil around an appropriate sized drill bit and feed the yarn through? I don't want to pinch the wick too much with my coil wrapping. -

3mm on hollow Ekowool is the inner diameter - 3mm Ekowool with cotton core is outer diameter. And also, what percent VG/PG was your juice with this Twik, cotton-core Ekowool? I just got cotton hemp yarn, maybe I will just thread my 2mm Ekowool myself and try it..
