Hmmm, I know "restricted lung hit" can be defined differently depending who it is, describing it, but since I know you have a Merlin, I'll compare it to that my Tube atty wide open is very close to the Merlin wide open, both of which to me are DTL, maybe very slightly restricted. I've not experienced this problem, looking at the build picture it appears your shoulders are very puffy, and fairly high over the edges of the coil. Also looking at the imprints left by the feeder tubes they seem to be pressed in fairly deeply. A little difficult to see from an over head... -

The 4 was too restrictive for me, I could get by with the 4S kit, but still wanted more. The 5 is more air then the 4 with 4S, but not quite as much as a single coil Derringer. I do like the 5, its a decent enough tank, but for more air on a single coil The Augvape Merlin is still king for me. -

If you look carefully at the base in the third pic on the black one it still shows the logo, I'd guess they did much like 3F, or FT sometimes do and strategically take pics to hide them as much as possible. -
