Thanks. I did a Google search and it seems that 3F, focal and FT are the only "big" places to get it from. Time to shop I guess.

The SJMY version seems the only one absolutely no body had any complains about except excessive machine oil upon arrival, so I ordered that one.

To the people that own this version, did you completely disassemble it to clean it before use?

If so I better start studying, that are a lot of parts

By coincidence, my Black Tobeco V5 arrived in the mail yesterday from Eciggaty. In comparison with the FT generic I posted about previously, the Tobeco is superior in machine quality, finish, and vape experience. I would avoid the SKU #5086700 from FT if possible. As always, JMHO and YMMV.

i had to wait about 5 days for 3F to ship my sjmy, but it does say ships in 3-7. just shipped yesterday. should have in 7-10. really hoping i scored a good k5. i hope mine was made on a Wednesday. i can deal with machining oil being the biggest complaint.

Holy crap Im gone from the RTA forums for a few months and now theres a V5????? I haven't read the entire 29 pages of the thread, but how is the airflow on it compared to a lung hitter dripper?? I loved my 3 KF4's when they came out last year, but after getting a Tobeco Derringer, my vaping habits completely changed and the KF4's MTL hits just wouldn't cut it anymore so they haven't seen any use since last summer (that along with they don't take 20 watts very well). I am still on the lookout for a decent single coil tank though (dripping while driving is not fun on the freeway) but its gotta have a draw like my Derringer with one of the sides wide open.. Will the KF5 cut it?? Ive been debating picking up a Cthulhu for months (or maybe the Wotofo Serpent) but Tobeco knocked it out of the park with the quality of the KF4 and the Derringer knockoffs, id just assume get one of theirs if its as good..

KTMRider - I noticed you were saying you liked the bigger draw of the 5 now compared to the 4, and considering how much we both loved the 4 'back in the day' think it would be worth a shot??

The 4 was too restrictive for me, I could get by with the 4S kit, but still wanted more. The 5 is more air then the 4 with 4S, but not quite as much as a single coil Derringer. I do like the 5, its a decent enough tank, but for more air on a single coil The Augvape Merlin is still king for me.

I still have 2 KF4's in rotation. For MTL, the KF4 is a great atomizer. The KF5 is just a more simple atomizer but the air flow isn't MTL friendly unless you can get used to it. Some people adapt, some move on to something that fits them. I've learned to adapt and it was worth it for me for the features it provided. The top fill and juice control is better than the KF4. The external AFC makes it easy to switch from MTL to DL, though DL is a bit restrictive.

If you like the KF4 but wanted more airflow, you'll love the KF5. I have 6 KF5's in rotation and 6 NIB. I still have 3 KF4's NIB.

Mine shipped within 10 hours after ordering, Fasttech should take lessons from those guys

It's kinda unfortunate because their customer-service was suppose to add a replacement tank for a previously bought item to save them some shipping on a warranty replacement, lol

One of my SXK K5's started leaking, open it and messed with the wick tails, leaked still. Upon closer examination I discovered o-ring #10 was kind of tore up. List calls for 11 x 1 mm, I used 12 x 1 mm (have lots)......fit well, all is good again.

They're great! The POM tips threads fit the Tobeco Kayfun 5 perfect! I just unscrewed the white tip & added the red. Cool!
