Amazing and Not So Amazing Mech Mod Clones

I was going to order one of the Maze copper and brass sleeves from SOI but they took them off the site, haven't bothered trying to contact them but hoping to see some custom options soon. I still may buy an authentic, its my favorite mod of the year thus far.

Shenray should be here in the AM, my cheap FT clone was .326 last time I had it on a mod. I suppose the grade/size of mesh may play a bit with ramp time and performance, I'll see in the morning if performance is repeatable on a more 1:1 clone. Since we are discussing oddities, I'll post this...

That seems a bit low, pretty sure minimum shipping cost to CONUS is about $24, add a few bucks for payment fees, though the SZX are a little more expensive now. 3x mod kits are gonna be about $63 without fees and shipping. pretty sure 3 will run about $90 after all is said and done.

Just go to the Alibaba contact page, contact them through it. I'll warn you, your going to be paying roughly $25-$30 in shipping and fees for a small order, 2 or 3 pieces. Unfortunately they only offer DHL shipping which is nice and fast but expensive. Two SZX mods with matching RDA are going...

Amazing and Not So Amazing Mech Mod Clones

The three SZX clones I have are all doing great, just took the switches apart checked them, no issues at all. Same with the copper XXX, does not appear to be any wearing in the switch at all, though I don't use it all the time. I use the SZX clones every day and they haven't missed a beat.

The cheap clone from FT runs just fine @ 30-40 watts, .32 build, sure it can run much higher, but flavor and vapor isn't bad down low, I'd disagree with needing 50+ watts for a satisfying vape. Ramp up time isn't bad either. And a normal satisfying vape for me is open air .15 or less running...

Almost ordered the SXK as well, but then a little bit of a sale, and my credit which I needed to use = Shenray inbound.

Admiral's that ship after the first batch will be marked as Admirals, no more Broadsides on the Admirals, After my whining session to the Kindbright gal they changed it  and sending me the following. Sadly The Ti's will continue on as "Broadsides" from what I'm told, I was also told...

Amazing and Not So Amazing Mech Mod Clones

Tomahawk X, and the Original Tomahawk are probably my favorite tube mods. The X clone polishes up nicely, and getting rid of the white painted logo reveals a much nicer look. The finish on them is really tough and holds up to a 1500 grit wet sand, then green jeweler's rouge after. Black one...

Amazing and Not So Amazing Mech Mod Clones

I like the ones I have, the only bad thing I could say is the switch needs more attention then typical, if its not clean its much more obvious then other mods.

the rest of it is unique to the shorty/legendary, top pin and adjuster nut is probably the same, but only included in the $20 silver plated upgrade. Only difference in the Shorty/legendary is the very bottom parts of the switch, everything else including clutch system is same. They've yet...

Not sure why Kindbright changed the spring, I told them the longer spring breaks the lock and makes the switch much rougher in use, no idea if they listened. the first bunch of SZX I got were all great. They are currently going on batch 3, who knows what they change this time. As for the...

Been using a broaside since they came out, yet to have an o-ring fail, same with the Subzero Shorty, but much longer time of use, similar setup no o-ring breakage, breaking magnets, bad spring could all cause an auto-fire. I'd also bet a good quality o-ring would probably outlast a spring...

Little rant, and why I think most authentic sellers are a bunch of @#$@#$@! And they pretty much deserve what China gives them! So I spent close to $100 for my authentic moloch, sort of a bargain for a decent little mod with the exception the bottom plate of the mod which holds the battery and...

Well that certainly sucks! Out of all my tanks I've only broken 2 pieces of glass, both had no spares when they broke. If I have spares they never break!
