    A new idea

A new GG? Who wouldn't love that? Since I now have my Penelope v3 on the way, I need something else to tempt me!

Good News Coming from Capella's Flavoring - Direct from Tom

Many thanks for the write-up! I've been using Capella flavourings for about 6 months—Vanilla Custard, French Vanilla, and Graham Cracker—and I'm VERY interested in the new versions without the Acetoin or AP in them. Also, the new tobacco flavour will be on my must-try list. Thanks again for this...

I'm probably one of the few that keeps mine naked

I might mention that the basic satin ProVari finish is a dead ringer for the Russian 91%'s finish ... with the Hippo flush ring, it has an almost hybrid look. And since mine never leaves my desk, I have a Tatroe extension tube and base as well (and love it!).

LOL! Indeed, she does ... no butts about it.

help setting up cheesecloth wick in kayfun 3.1

Actually, when I used cheesecloth all the time, I didn't pick the threads apart; I rolled it into a tube like sahsah suggested. That was one big benefit to using cheesecloth—it was easy to get a repeatable wick; just count the number of threads. I found that a 40-thread tube was ideal for...

    Grant's Vanilla Custard

No clue; haven't tried TFA. I do like the Capella's, though. Another combo you might like is Capella Chocolate Fudge Brownie with the Graham Cracker (or the VC!). Capella's CFB is the most realistic brownie I've tasted to date; at about 8% with 1.5% EM and .5% AP, it's spot on. In higher...

    Grant's Vanilla Custard

I like VC mixed with Capella's Graham Cracker ... both @ 8%, with 1.5% EM and .5% AP. Yum, yum ...

    Problem with MVP?

This is an MVP2, correct? When you say "meter read", do you mean the voltage display on your MVP, or a meter reading taken with an external multimeter? On the MVP2, the two buttons by the display are "P" (on the top) and "V" (looks like a "U," on the bottom). If you adjust using the top (P)...

    Learning the Basics of Charging

Well, first of all, you have selected a good battery and a VERY good charger! I've had several chargers, including the much-praised PILA, and the XTar VP1 is far and away the best I've come across. Secondly, I always use the .25A setting (the lowest and slowest) because I like to pamper my...

Congratulations, House Mouse! :toast: And thanks to Imeo for another great contest. :)

    Tobacco Flavored E-liquid.

I've always been a fan of Turkish tobaccos (e.g., Camel Turkish Blend), and the closest things I've found are AVE's Gamel and Hangsen Turkish Blended. I agree with other posters that after vaping exclusively for a while, your flavor memory will fade and you'll no longer crave that...

    Mech with Russian 91 finish

Ah, but I also have the 18350 tube for the Legacy. It's a cute li'l thang

    Mech with Russian 91 finish

If you can find one, the Puresmoker Legacy finish is a dead ringer for the R91 finish. Also, the ProVari standard satin silver/grey finish is very close to the R91. I've got R91s on both my Legacy and ProVari, and they're very sexy-looking matchups!

Having Issues Finding Battery Statistics for a couple batteries how safe are these?

Surely a typo? I think you meant to say 18350?

    anyone try tfa fudge brownie?

Not tried the TFA version yet, but the Capella's Chocolate Fudge Brownie is quite realistic, to me. At about 8%, it's quite tasty (especially with some Capella Graham Cracker); at 15%, it takes on the slightly burnt chocolate taste you get with a corner piece of real fudge brownies. A...

Best mechanical mod you can buy

It's a bit out of the OP's price range, but the CopperHead Hybrid is the best mod I've ever seen, and it's worth all $320.

    Cotton probelms :/

Some cotton balls have harsh chemicals in them from the bleaching process, and the taste from these chemicals can even survive boiling. I've had great success with the Maxim Hygiene Products Organic Cotton Balls, which you can probably find at your local Walgreen drugstore, but if not, they are...

    KFL+/Dry Hits

Something I just found out that has helped me immensely with both my KFL+ and my R91 is tightening up the air flow. For a long time, I was vaping them both wide open (and got nice big billows, which is what I was after :)) but I was getting the dry hits described by the OP. Tightening the draw...

Vapor Joe gets it wrong again

I like Vapor Joes. I rarely buy any of the deals he pimps, but that's mostly because after 18 months I've got setups I really like and I don't need much of anything. Nonetheless, I go there at least once a day; I view VJ as a news site, and I use it to keep up on what's hot ATM. That way I can...
