    If there is a patent, I don't think it will hold up in court unless a manufacturer tries to copy Evolv's exact circuit. You can't patent an idea, you can only patent your version of it.

    These types of circuits have been around long before e-cigarettes, and I'm pretty sure Provape has their own in house design. If you want to think that someone who used existing technology and adapted it to control an electronic cigarette as the inventor, be my guest.
