I do them in batches of about 30 cartos, rotating two batches. First I prep 'em with 3-4 drops of distilled white vinegar on the coil and let them sit for 3-4 days, then I put them in a cup with hot tap water and let them soak for 2-3 days. After that I blow them out and let them sit in the open...
I was a Salem smoker, too (Salem Ultra Lights for the last few years).
If memory serves even the tobacco/menthol juices taste WAY better than the old Salems. I don't think I'd want an ecig that tasted like the real thing.
I've pretty much learned over time that I probably picked the absolute worse juice in the world for trouble-free vaping: Tasty Vapors Tobacco/Menthol. I can run at most about 3ml through a CE2 or Nova before I have to clean and dry-burn the coil. I put up with it only because the taste is so...
Lol well in that case I guess I'll stick to my CE2's. I have some here that have been washed and dry-burned 40-50 times, and they still taste great. I can't kick what's working for me. :)
I use the Viva Nova around the house and really like it. Same problem with the wick gunking up but if your juice is a "gunker" you pretty much have to live with that no matter the device. I usually burn out the coil on a Nova after about 10-12 dry-burns.
I'm still impressed with the CE2's I...
Yep I know they're on sale - I have spares! :)
The extension is fine I'm using it on another Gripper now.
I'll probably just sacrifice the broken one to science and play around with it a bit. ;)
I use an extension too and it's not spinning - screws in nice and tight. It went out while a carto was attached so I'm assuming bad switch(?) You don't seem to hear about those horn switches going bad very often, though. Especially in a fairly short period of time...
Not sure what I did but it just stopped working. I tried to be gentle screwing the carto in.
Anyone figured out a way to work on these yet? Or should I just toss it and move on with my life? :)
(p.s. This is the standard Gripper, not the VV)
