This is probably the best mainstream article I've read on vaping yet. Could it be? People are actually starting to see through BT's war on the real e-cig industry...
That's part of it, but a lot of it is just self-righteous elitism. They think the same way as a religious fanatic does, it's about purity to them, when they say "think of the children", they're really saying "you're not going to ruin my generation of pure youth innocent of tobacco products"...
Their intentions aren't in good faith but I still believe they intend to entirely eliminate tobacco and nicotine use of all types from our society in the long run, but I also think they see anybody who dies as a result of options such as e-cigs being taken away as collateral damage. It's more...
The problem is that the ANTZ have a very delusional plan: they want to eliminate smoking --- or anything that resembles it or has to do with tobacco ---- entirely among this generation of youth, which will in turn theoretically eliminate smoking entirely 50 years from now. They consider e-cigs a...
So I was watching TV and I just saw an ad for Vuse, which is own by RJ Renoylds if I'm not mistaken. It seems that unlike Blu, they're taking very subtle shots at the industry we know. They claim to be the "first vapor cigarette to be made in the USA by 'tobacco experts'." They go on to say...
You can put "a lot more than nicotine" in ANY "pipe". And anyway there's nothing stopping kids from having somebody buy them a traditional pipe to smoke the illegal stuff, my brother was coming home from his buddies house with little wooden pipes all the time when he was 14-15. Anybody who...
Well, they're not sending vapers to concentration camps and shooting them in the streets just yet, so they don't quite qualify as fascist, still the way they do this is completely unacceptable.
Yeah guys where are you? When I first saw this thread that's the first thing I scanned the responses for, until I hear from them it's as good as fake. Now if it is confirmed, that's litterly criminal activity that might just mean we already win because no federal judge would accept the current...
Oh make no mistake these guys are the worst of the ANTZ, and they're going more and more off the deep end after every propaganda campaign. Actual cigarettes are a terrible thing but these people have a borderline fascist approach to dealing with them

Link broken. This has nothing to directly do with e-cigs but it goes to show that they clearly plan on using this new FDA deeming regulation to all but eliminate anything that has anything to do with tobacco from society and it's clear that vaping is in their mind...
This SE bull$&@% is such a joke, they're not even trying to be subtle about the conflicts of interest associated with it at this point, there has to be a way to demonstrate the biased and unfair manner this section of FSPTCA is being used in court, the minute they approve camel/marlboro snus --...
That's actually what we're doing. check out CASAA's third Call to Action here CASAA: Third Call to Action for FDA Proposed Regulations - Demand Congressional Hearings Investigating FDA and CDC's Actions
And tobacco pipes DON'T have other uses? All pipes that are know for you-know-what are legal because they say "oh well this is for tobacco, all other uses are up to them", which brings me to another point, there's one rolling paper line called juicy jays that still flavored under grounds that...
Kind of ridiculous that a 10 centimeter peice of paper requires premarket approval isn't it? Who other than big tobacco ever thought this was a good idea?
Here's another thing I'm curious about: I know the FDA has regulatory jurisdiction of "components" of tobacco products and hardware would obviously be treated as such no way around it. What I'm wondering is do companies who currently ONLY make the components for cigarettes have to file SE apps...
Now I haven't read responses from all 20 pages of this thread but I still say our best bet is trying to fight them in court when they make their move. Of course we need to be vocal about stopping this from going through in the first place but as far as money goes CASAA should be mostly investing...
This just keeps getting better and better! Every time make this crap up it always turns out that we have a leg up on them. Keep digging up more things like this and a judge just might tell the FDA to go screw themselves.
I think the executive and legislative branches of government are a lost cause at this point, but there's one branch left that I still have faith in: the judical branch. The best solution is to conserve our resources (while still being vocal of course) and wait until the time is right, at which...
