Freebase nicotine - SourceWatch
But I am asking question, not answering it. I do not want any answers from vaping sites (like I do not want any tobacco-related health answers from tobacco sites).
Tobacco companies were increasing "hit" from nicotine. Doesn't nicotine salts have the same quality?
It's not my wicking - tank never leaks in vertical position.
When it's on its side, I believe leaking occur only if filling hole is down. So, in some cases there will be no leaking even if it is on its side. And it does not leak (when on it's side) when it is not full enough.
And about O-rings...
Thanks for answers.
Now I see that NN sucks a bit. Their nicotine salts are darker than those from other sellers. If I decide to buy more of salts, it will be not from NN.
By the way, I did liked the stuff. Isn't it the same thing Big Tobacco was blamed for?
I bought it because it supposedly is leak-proof. Not at all. It's leaking catastrophically when it is left for a few hours on its side. I think it's because of it's filling system - through side hole not properly secured by O-rings.
Any ideas how it can be prevented?
But mine is not pale yellow, it is yellow-brownish. Not pale. If I do decide to buy more, I'll wait at least two months - to get them rid of their current supply.
Are you buying your salts from NN?
Catching a trend (while reading DIY forum) I decided to test nicotine salts, so I ordered free ($2.75) sample from Nude Nicotine. What a disappointment... It's yellow! I am even reluctant to taste it.
I always sought NN is a reliable supplier. Looks like not anymore.
Or it's me? May be I am...
For work - just one mode with a tank. I have a bottle of juice in my desk and several computers which I can use as chargers if needed. I do not need a spare mod. It almost never needed, but if something goes wrong - so what? Am I a slave to vaping? I can survive for a few hours.
Coil oxidation should not bother you, it have (almost) nothing to do with it's lifespan. Main problem - products of thermal decomposition of juice (but there are no carbides), especially decomposition of sweeteners. Using juice with no sweeteners at lower temperature (or Watts) will prolong coil...
Caramelization is a wrong world (it was discussed earlier, the world applies to culinary sugars). It is thermal decomposition of all things in a juice. With high enough temperature you can even decompose VG and PG and get formaldehyde in your vapor. It looks like all sweeteners (even if they are...
Sorry, I did not watch your video (I hate videos, especially long ones).
But as I understood (2 minutes of clicking at random points of recording) you are looking on empty coil, no wick. Wick will change everything.
Anyway, I like your setup.
"Morals are private. Decency is public"
At least Chinese cloners have decency not to put their names and pictures on boxes. I would not buy this piece even if it suited my vaping style.
Yes. It's the main question for me also. Is it improvement over Siren or not at all?
Anyway, now we a stepping into a new era. Now western guys are stealing Chinese design.
MSRP $39.95?
Does it mean "made in China"?
I'll wait for a few months for reviews on FT.
EDIT: after-sought.
Siren, as I understand, is a Chinese company. Will it sue for infringement?
I just counted...
I use 3 mod/tank combinations which cost me $180 total. Suppose they will serve me for 3 years before replacement. Then hardware amortization is $0.16/day. DIY juice - about $0.06/day. Wire and cotton - almost nothing; it will be a great exaggeration to suppose they cost...
May be you are right. May be people do enjoy early morning activities.
I myself enjoyed something like this once. My job started at 5AM and consisted in cleaning cowshed from - excuse my French - cow's manure with a shovel. First 10 minutes were the toughest, the aim was just to stay alive...
