acrylics are a little thick, but I bet if you thinned them down just right it would work! Sharpies sound easy. :)

Well, I survived week 1 of no shop time. But man am I itching to get back in there! I have my sis the next three days and Im not sure it would be safe to have her in the shop with me, so it looks like Im waiting a few more days at least! Shes seven and she likes to grab stuff and look at stuff...

Feeling very stressed today, I have a lot going on at work and its going to keep me out of the shop for the next two weeks getting ready for a big meeting in fort worth. I dont like this. Not one bit. :(

I do a lot of opal work so I can answer this. Hope you dont mind! Gilson opals are what is used in boro glass. The technique is fairly simple. You make sure they are very clean, close the end of small tube, let it cool and drop your opal in. Once its in, you heat just enough for the glass to...

Just for the record here, hand tattoos hurt like hell. LOL Its doesnt hurt when they do it, but in the following days every move of my fingers is stretching the skin and I can feel the dry areas cracking. Feels kind of like getting an electrical shock. And when the sunlight hits its like fire...
