Well, I survived week 1 of no shop time. But man am I itching to get back in there! I have my sis the next three days and Im not sure it would be safe to have her in the shop with me, so it looks like Im waiting a few more days at least! Shes seven and she likes to grab stuff and look at stuff up close which could end badly. I dont know, maybe I can give her the ipad or something. Any suggestions on how to completely occupy a 7 year old girl? LOL

Hi Delilah, I have a disabled family that wants to do Halloween this year. There are 3 children so I have just got back from the shops with heaps of creepy Halloween stuff. Can't wait to do up their house tonight when I mind them.

We did some spelling games on the iPad tonight, drew pages of hearts and watched 101 Dalmatians. tomorrow I'm going to take her out to lunch with my friends and she's looking forward to that. Maybe we can paint some pumpkins? What kind of paint do you use for that? I don't want to carve because I'm not giving her anything sharp. Lol

Amber - I've never painted a pumpkin -- I read up on it and its suggested to use a varnish first to help the paint stick and the pumpkin last Acrylic paints are recommended -- & markers too! Pics please
