Also note that if you get slightly different values in the future, most especially noted if you might have a lot of ingredients... Is that ELR [at least by default, I think] is using the manufacturer's specific gravity for the ingredients, which tends to differ slightly from calculating strictly...

What I think Bananas1 is referring to, is that each time there is an update, the Pinned links to the program disappear if they're "Pinned" to either the start menu and/or the taskbar. It happens here on Windows 10, as well. I know one time I had trouble removing the empty default...

I was referring to if you're using it inside of a virtual machine. Sorry, I can't remember if you said you were or not, as opposed to something like Wine (assuming Wine can't use such a thing).

Possible bug(s)? Whenever a flavor percentage is set to anything below .2% (.0x, .1x), pressing the up button causes an exception that is 'recoverable' by just clicking "continue".. but I need to manually enter other percentages if it's anything below that .2%, in order to avoid that. Also of...

There should also be several programs that install a 'printer' named to the effect of "print to PDF". In my list of printers I see "Microsoft print to PDF" and a Foxit p-t-pdf. I'm sure there must be several others out there via a google search, if you don't already see that MS one.

OT: It's hard for me to explain, but that's exactly the same as asking what Opus can do that Explorer on PC can't do. I guess I'd say that you can customize EVERY single aspect from functionality (creating button & menus) to display from colors to fonts to placement, have tabbed...

OT: Yeah, I didn't even know about JC back then (was likely still smoking). The main/only one that got me to switch back was Directory Opus. I kept trying, but just could not get that to run under Wine (or any other emulator I probably tried at the time). I had been using it since its...

Ok, I can understand such a condition.. But I'm curious that if a program can know it's not being fully displayed (I'm guessing perhaps by detecting closeness to edges in some way??), then why isn't it able to also detect that is in, in fact, being fully displayed within a screen? I have...

It would also help if you were comparing apples to apples - like if the Windows machine also had a SSD. One of the troubles with Macs is that everything is so damned proprietary (and pretentious). Like, one NEEDS the iChair, iDesk (or iLap iCooler interface), and the iCup/iMug in order for it...

    New Calculator to try

That's actually a very welcomed feature. It now behaves like all other note taking software. But perhaps something could be done for folks that like to do what I think you're wanting, like maybe not inserting a TAB if the field has been TAB'ed into (without any cursor key or text input after...

Doh! I forgot one other UI quirk: When starting the program with the notes field already detached... It remembers the size and position just fine, but when reattaching it afterwards, the notes box will be much shorter lengthwise in the main window. Also, it would be great when tabbing inside...

It turns out, that seems to be the case.. While the image does paste here, only when doing ctrl-v, it doesn't survive after a save-close-restart - or even when switching to another recipe and back. Oh well.. That's right - they ARE different. And that's exactly why I'm thinking the wording...

One possibility perhaps.. Maybe within the phrase "Days to steep" - turn the word "steep" into a button with no border-spacing to do that...??? Sort of a 'hot-word', so-to-speak. I have a disability that affects cognition and memory, so trying to remember too many hotkeys quickly gets me lost...

Oh wow! That's pretty damn cool! I just copied my avatar into the notes section! One has to do a 'ctrl-v' though, as right click doesn't allow any pasting at all when an image is on the clipboard. (I notice that that also happens when wanting to paste text into the "Import from text...

Yep, I did.. Plus even when getting new bottles, many times there will be upwards of 130ml(my usual 4oz 'testers' ;)) or 500ml or more in the bottles. Ain't no way I'm going through the trouble of measuring all that, just to be precise. :) For me, it's mainly just a rough guideline when...

    New Calculator to try

Yep, same here. Not to mention that if I DO start dipping my toes into the measure-by-weight waters, I'd be starting with a milligram scale since I already have one. Flavors only though, due to 50g limit. I actually made 1 measurement with it so far, that hit the desired .077g mark to a T! =)

He's said in the past that that's because he wants to give people the option of deciding how much to add - either slightly under or slightly over... Same reason for one decimal place with drops. However, I DO have a milligram scale I'm thinking of using... To add just the flavoring ingredients...

(Within "Modify Existing Recipe") No, I mean a button to reduce inventory of one particular item (or several) according to what has been set for that item when pressed. i.e. If currently says 'add 1.47ml', then when clicked, it would reduce inventory of that item by 1.47ml. And then an option...

As far as the current questions on steeping.. Have a "steeping days" entry within the recipe, right near the 'last made' date. Any items still within that steeping time frame, between what is set in 'last made' and 'steep days', would show in green within the "recipes" drop-down. Also, maybe...
