No more Ciscos 306s at VaporFlow?

Thanks, Jason. Sorry I missed your earlier message. Haven't had much time for EFC lately. That's a bummer about the Cisco's, but I'll give the Joye's shot.

No more Ciscos 306s at VaporFlow?

The only LR 306's I saw on the site were made by Joye. Are you not carrying the Ciscos anymore?

In search of the perfect mod...

Yeah, I watched the video and commented about it way up there. In any case, they are perpetually out of stock.

Even if I am, I specifically said I don't want VV. Why would you suggest one?

In search of the perfect mod...

I know everyone is in love with the ProVari these days and think it's the be all, end all of PVs. However, that doesn't change the laws of physics. There are a lot more components in the ProVari that need to be powered. Simple electronics theory says it's true.

    Advantages of a mod

The only "true 3.7v" batteries in terms of mods and LR attys are the IMR high drain type. Normal LiIon are going to suffer from voltage sag because they can't keep up with the current draw needed for LR attys.

Does anyone ever get juice that gunks up your atty?

By killing an atty, we mean that performance drops to an unacceptable level. Not that it dies entirely. I've never had an atty stop working entirely from dark liquid either. Also in reference to term gunk, it builds up on the coil and causes it to stop producing as much heat. This is the whole...

In my case I don't want VV. So, I guarantee the saber touch blows the pro vari out of the water in terms of battery life.

    Have Cartomizers replaced dripping? O_O

God no. Cartos are terrible. I even tried the e2. Got one that tasted great and the rest were horrible. Only way I see myself not dripping is by using a juice fed device which amounts to the same thing.

The Chuck - Long Term Review

I also have a soft spot for my Chuck for the same reason, Angus. I haven't talked to Jeff yet about the clear coat problem. I want to build a box mod for my wife before I do because she has no other PV besides her Chuck. I should also amend my review to point out that the Chuck is indeed built...

The Chuck - Long Term Review

Shortly after I began vaping back in July I decided to make a venture into the world of mods and order one for myself and one for my wife. I wanted something customized to suit our personalities, so a pair of new Chucks was the obvious choice. I spent days searching the internet for pictures...

Does anyone ever get juice that gunks up your atty?

Yes. My daily vape is a very dark liquid that clogs attys very quickly. If an atty lasts 3 weeks for me, it's had a long life. Short of finding some other juice that I like as much as my daily, which I'm in the process of doing, there are a few things I've found that help mitigate the clogging...

What affects draw more? Battery type or cartomizer types?

Here's a thread I wrote a few months back that discusses performance. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/general-e-smoking-discussion/127362-so-what-high-voltage-vaping-all-about-everything-youve-wanted-know-plus-bit-electronic-theory.html Also, PG based liquids will produce more throat...

    first day with e-cig.

Yep. That's primer you're tasting. It's terrible. Some atomizers are worse than others and some have no primer taste. It will eventually burn out and you'll taste nothing but the juice.

Something similar to Vapor Etc. Red Box?

I love the taste of Vapor Etc's Red Box, but it's chewing up attys like no tomorrow. Can anyone who's tried it recommend something similar?

So what IS high voltage vaping all about? (Everything you've wanted to know plus a bit of electronic theory)

That's a legitimate use if you don't want to mess with VV. Still that seems to be a rather obscure need. Glad it's working out for you though.

So what IS high voltage vaping all about? (Everything you've wanted to know plus a bit of electronic theory)

I do have 18650 IMRs now and they don't last nearly as long between charges. However, I'm enjoying the vape I get from them so much more, especially since my daily vape is a dark, cloudy atty killer. Regular and LR 510s couldn't keep up with it, so I switched to Cisco LR 306s. Even with the...

In search of the perfect mod...

I wish I'd known about that locking button on the Reo. His site is terribly devoid of information. Guess I should have watched the video. Oh well, I wouldn't mind having another back up. I'll snag one of those the next time I get bored with my current PVs. :) I did look at the GLV2. I don't...

So what IS high voltage vaping all about? (Everything you've wanted to know plus a bit of electronic theory)

Exactly, which makes it sort of ridiculous to vape at really high voltages, in my opinion.
