If you just want to have the evercool "locked in" at 5 volts. You need to put a 268 ohm resistor from pin 3 to 5. Then you do not need the variable resistor or the resistor. On page 8 of the TI spec sheet (data sheet) you can see the other values for output voltage.
The spec sheet is...
Allazar,
First let me say thank you for being a customer. Would it be safe to try the 1.7 ohm cartomizer on a SmokeStik?.... Forgive me if I get too geeky......but being the engineer I sometimes do that.
If you put a 1.7 ohm cartomizer on a SmokeStik battery, you are asking the battery...
Allazar, Please be very careful filling. You might want to read this post:
http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/smokestik/140216-please-careful-if-you-drip-refill-your-ss-cartos.html
Now that you have read that and have learned the proper refilling method....the SmokeStik is an RN4081. And...
Kyro, Welcome to the SmokeStik Family... At this time we do not have a PT for SmokeStik.
I have not found a PT that works like our batteries. So I can not recommend one at this time.
I have to be very careful what I do now ( See my signature below)..this is one reason I have let you guys keep this thread going.... and I have to say thank you to all of you for helping new people.... I will "step" in if needed...but....I have not needed to because most of you now know as much...
Patrick, This was an available battery color in the past. Because of lack of interest we no longer carry it. Just like we no longer carry the gold one on the main website
Thank you for your kind words. You can see from my signature... I don't have as much time as I used to to create... But I do have a few ideas still.
Thanks again..
Steve
Hogwart. If it worked once you built it correct . Check for any shorts between the wires. It is hard to see, but is the White wire at the board touching the 220 ohm restistor?.... Or the pot is bad.
RR, when you click on LK's signature it will take you to the ECF discount.... Pick what you want and then "continue shopping" and you'll see the bracelet as the first item in the products list... Continue to check out and you'll be all good.
VWFringe, please be careful using those.... Im sure you know that they are unprotected. I use this PCB for 3.7V Li-ion Battery to make them a lot safer.
