Speaking from experience the spring will collapse in the Vmod in the event of a short... Happened to me and a friend and the whole chassis was replaced by Vapage... Happened so fast I actually heard the battery bottom out when it happened...
Cheers....
Stand corrected... Andrew Wong was in my head for some reason.... Did not see a name reference in the quick search I did at the time... :toast:
Cheers...
BTW... You should be very happy with the performance of that Panasonic cell from what I have read... If I did not have 4 AW's IMR's...
The only changes that have been made to the LT from the first batch until now have been cosmetic or mechanical. I have not seen anything that indicates the electronics have been altered. What comes with the unit is at the discretion of the vendor when they order...
Cosmetic changes that have...
Not entirely true... Quality of the parts and the way they go together can be a contributor to a mess (leak) or lack there of... Vapian had a great review of the Smoke tek DC tank and visually showed how one sealed well on the orings in the sleeve and the other was flawed and had been leaking...
"IF" you boil to clean a carto do not boil more than 5 min at a time... Excessive duration of heat can cause thermal break down of the plastic/rubber gasket in the middle...
Really a waste of time unless you change to a different flav for less than a buck and half... Just refill the same or...
You could go with a stainless tube style tank... Big Daddy Vapor has one but I am sure there are others... Might bend but no breaky... Just won't be able to see the juice level...
Black or white J-Tank from electronicstixs fits the bill... Been using for over 2 months and not one leak...:vapor:
No sliding as well... For me at least...
I have a smoke tek as well but the tube is a thinner material and seems a bit flimsy... Has not been an issue but a week point with that...
You left out a few tanks.... Like the J-tank from Electronic sticks...
I have had 3 3ml in rotation with Boge 3 ohm carts since I got my Lava Tube at the end of Nov. and have had not a single issue (excluding a user error one tried vaping before letting wick... Yuck)... J-tank comes in 2 sizes...
Convicted atty killer.... I have killed more atties in a few hours to just a day or two than I care to admit... I have not tried them all but most of the newer hybrids/bridgeless ones have touched these lips... IKV ios I have yet to try...
HH3357 less than 2 days on one and not more than a...
The LT has protective circuitry that causes it to shut down if it detects a short and also will do the same if an over charged battery is detected. As far as venting, there is a vent hole and the pressed on plastic battery cap "should blow off in the event of out gassing...
Thanks dude, You had to make me go do some research....
After doing some Google scouring and based on info I partially was already aware of I can say that AW is a supplier owned by Andrew Wong. AW sources from more than one manufacturer and has everything shipped to the company which is in...
Drop your machined block of aluminum wrong You better have a leatherman/pair of needle nose and and a back up carto/atty if your not at home. Drop a Vmod XL most any way you can vape while you admire the character (dent/scratch) that you just gave it. and not wonder how you will vape....
Thicker juices I punch 2 holes...
Your airflow issue is not due to the holes in you carto for juice to feed it. Airflow comes form the pin holes on the sides of the threads and the center pin hole on the carto. Your lack of air is a result of those airways being impeded.
Do you get airflow...
Sounds like your tank is bottoming out on the top of your PV cutting off the air flow to the air holes on the carto. Try slightly unscrewing the tank. Or sliding the tank up on the carto just a smidge.
I have 3 J-tanks all with CV Ming drip tips on them. One of them (black) the top and bottom...
AW's are not Panasonic cells... Panasonic batts are made in Japan and AW are Chinese...
Holy carp sad, Those batts are $12.95 at Callie's Kustoms (flash light battery supplier)... Supposedly a safer and superior battery to the AW IMR's
If you are having trouble screwing the tank on because things are slipping firmly push on the drip tip as you screw it in/out....
Adjusting the center post in the carto is kind of tricky to explain. The center post is the thing in the center of the threads with what looks like a screw driver...
