how to make a flashlight mod??

im looking for a good tutorial for making a flashlight mod, using something similar to this: Red Aluminum Tube Flashlight, 3AAA, 9 LED, Easily Moddable.
i thought about making a puck of half puck, but how can i say no to aluminum . i found a vid on youtube, but its not very detailed and i cant find anything on the forum. this would be good practice to see if i can ACTUALLY mod and i have TONS of these flashlights at home.

OP might want to check out the EFC recommendations for safety on tube mods as well...

make the front end the strong end.
vents in the lower end. Insulation inside the tube in case the cell wrapper gets cut.

I've done a few. Stacking cells for a first mod is probably not a good idea.
Stacking cells in a second mod is still not a good idea. Get the hint?

i have no plans to stack batteries at this time, and i have read or in the process of reading all the safety issues about modding. the only video i saw was this, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-PGYuulptz8 at 0:26 he mentions using a single 18650, which was my plan. unless that would not fit? my flashlight measures to 94mm. not sure how this turned stacking... haha. i wanted to see a full tutorial to see if i feel comfortable in trying. so far so good it seems
