Hey everyone. I jotted down some rough numbers to determine the correct juice density to replace my analogs and here is what I have so far.
My regular analog is a Marlboro Menthol Light, Hard Pack. According to the Erowid site under Plants,Tobacco (can't post links yet)
the nicotine per...
Well that's part of why I was asking for times on components. I realize there is a high degree of variance inherent in the products, quality control seems to be a major issue.
My background is that I'm a Statistician, but I'm changing careers now to Electrical Engineering. I start my EE program...
Thanks for the reply. Sorry if the post didn't make sense.
I was trying to do a small informal sampling for estimates on the useful life of various components to use them in cost per year calculations comparing "analogs" to e-cigs. It would also allow me to better plan my ordering of components...
Oh! If you don't mind, include when you actually bought cigarettes, did you buy by pack / carton, how often, and how far did you drive to get them, etc.
Hey everyone, I am working out the logistics and cost analysis for comparing the analogs to the real thing.
I still need to factor in the additional equipment costs for the analogs so I need some estimates on how long things last by time.
1) Atomizers
2) Cartridges
3) Batteries
Anything else...
Ah I see. I'm leaning towards truevapor as of now based on the forums, I'll give vaporguys another look later tonight before I place some orders.
Thanks for the replies.
This is what I'm talking about:
truevapor claims they only sell the original DSE901:

but if you compare it to the one on vaporguys:

You can see it's not the same product. Can't link the images directly yet.
Hey Fatman,
I checked that site out, but it has poor item descriptions. I'm looking to buy a DSE901 specifically. That's another issue I'm seeing in many of the e-cig sites, many seem to be "amateur" or lack descriptions. The few that seem to have a good design are the ones with stock issues.
Hey everyone, new to the forum. Prices here in FL just went up to 4.19 / pack and the new Federal tax hasn't even kicked in yet. I didn't want to give up smoking, but I don't want to support the state with my cig taxes any longer. Smokers are already looked down on in society, I'll be damned if...
