Hey everyone, new to the forum. Prices here in FL just went up to 4.19 / pack and the new Federal tax hasn't even kicked in yet. I didn't want to give up smoking, but I don't want to support the state with my cig taxes any longer. Smokers are already looked down on in society, I'll be damned if I continue to pay the taxes and be treated like that by the rest of society.

Anyway, I've been lurking the site awhile and have narrowed down my choice to a DSE901. The problem?

Not sure where to buy from. I've seen a few sites already, such as e-cig, true-vapor, puresmoker (down). Prices seem to vary significantly and I've read about fake versions of the DSE901. Another issue is that many of the sites seem to be out of stock on one item or another.

I'm looking to buy a DSE901, plenty of e-liquid, and any number of additional accessories preferably from one place.

Would someone mind recommending such a site?

Thanks in advance.

Hi Al,

I think, just a guess, that you may be comparing the DSE901 on TrueVapor to the Super Mini on VaporGuys. On the VaporGuys website, the DSE901 is shown under the mini e-cigarettes tab. They look the same to me, just shown in different colors.

I called VaporGuys yesterday and talked at length with them about my smoking habits and what is the best option for me. They were extremely helpful and also gave me tips on how to "reload" my own cartridges with a paper clip, etc. instead of purchasing a bunch of new ones. (That info is also found here on the site).

Give them a call - perhaps it will put your mind at ease. Hope this helps....

I'm surprised that nobody has mentioned e-smokeytreats.com yet, but this is a good company. I have read of many people that are happy with the 901 that they got there.

Go to e-cigs.com at your own risk. Shipping from China = expensive + long wait, and there customer service is not very good. At least this has been my personal experience. The last shipment I got from them took 3.5 weeks, and after a weeks worth of e-mails (only two, but days for a response) they basically said "Oh well".

Hey Al,
I also live in Fla, I just ordered my first e-cigg DSE 901 from Phil at e-smokey-treats.com, in CA last week. Talked to him on the phone, nice guy. Anyway I recommend him cause he has a 3 month warranty, and your starter kit comes with 2 full 901 units, 10 or 12 carts, And charger for 69.00 a great deal if you shop around. PLUS my order arrived within 3 days. I would recommend getting some Juice as well. I didnt order any from Phil but im shopping around!

Hey Fatman,

I checked that site out, but it has poor item descriptions. I'm looking to buy a DSE901 specifically. That's another issue I'm seeing in many of the e-cig sites, many seem to be "amateur" or lack descriptions. The few that seem to have a good design are the ones with stock issues.

Sorry I did not get back earlier, but I see other folks have answered yoru question.

I bought one of my minis from vapor guys. I've had that one and another from another supplier for 4 weeks. The batteries have different numbers, but frankly I can't tell the difference. It is a very typical 901 - draw is a little hard, good kick with the right juice, good vapor, about 3 hours on the battery and constant filling of carts.

I think the general concensus around here is right. The 901 is an excellent starter kit. Now with some experience, I am experiementing with an 801 and a 4081, but I keep coming back to the 901. It's far from perfect, but is an excellent compromise.

Is that with 2 chargers....or the regular kit of 2 batts and one atomizer....plus an extra atomizer?

Did you check out Totally Wicked? They have alot of great juice flavors - a tad expensive but they cap their shipping rates at $6.99 for any size order. The shipping was quick, too - I ordered some liquids - delivered in 4 days. They do have some 901's in stock according to the website.
From some of the other posts here - Janty is backlogged big time, PureSmoker is moving and won't be back up until the 20th of this month.

Hope vapin works for you - I'm Lovin' it!
