    Can I use NiMH Duracell AAA rechargeable batteries in a 501 USB passthrough?

    The battery that comes in the passthru is a 3.7v Li-ion 10440. The USB power charges the battery as you deplete it while vaping. You'll get a much better experience running off of straight 5v USB power instead. Edit: And putting a NIMH or NiCad AAA in there will do bad things. Very bad things.

    After doing DIY for awhile, I can't go back to commercial liquids. I picked up some RY4 with my last bulk atomizer order because I used to really like it, and I can't stand the stuff anymore. It just doesn't taste 'clean'. Hell, I find the usplastics dropper bottles more convenient anyways...

    Mosfets are your friend here, they turn a .05A tact switch into a 15A tact switch with a 5mm^2 footprint. What I meant was does anyone want atomizers specced to a difference voltage, but it looks like everyone wants 2x 3v or 2x 3.7v atm, and one atomizer resistance *should* handle both.

    I'm confused Scott - the point of these atomizers is basically to give you the 5v vape off of 2x 3v (7.4v fully charged) batteries. Unfortunately, none of my suppliers have been willing to make actual higher voltage batteries, so we're sticking with mods as the power source for the time being...
