The 510 is said to give a great throat hit, though I haven't tried it, yet. I use the 901 myself, and find that going over to a battery mod increases
Happy Vaping!
901 should be giving you enough - try a stronger liquid.
Some liquids will give better TH than others, as well. Menthol will give better TH than chocolate, for instance. Some of the alcohol flavored juices will also help with TH.
Hi Brewster,
How old is your 901 atomiser ?.
I ask as you should definately be getting a good hit from it.
I have been using a 901/RN4075 with The ScrewDriver for over a year and providing you are using a newish atomiser there should be no problem.
The throat hit starts to drop off after I have been using the atomiser for 2-3 weeks.
This equates to Vaping 40ml - 60 ml liquid.
The residue from the liquid starts to buld up on the coil and they just dont function as well when they are all gunked up.
Large battery mods are definately more cost effective to run after the initial purchase.
The switch also makes vaping and consistent vapour hit much easier.
Actually its kinda hard to know how much use I have on an atty I have 7 of them and switch them out every time I change flavors> I'm kinda torn on weather to go hi volt or get a 510.
Ha that is exactly what I did when I started vaping, had umpteen atties on the go thought it was great they were lasting so long then....
They all died in the same week 8-o
Did my sums and in reality I only got 2 - 3 weeks per atomiser
I now just use one at a time either they die or if the hit does not satisfy time for a new one .
No more constantly swapping them about trying to get satisfaction
Sorry I never tried the 510 - they were not about when I started and as I was happy with the vapour and throat hit from my 901 ( Just hated the self clean, short battery life and LED) I just stuck with the atomiser and a mod for cheap batteries and long run time.
HMMM me thinks I stop switching attys and use only 1 till it dies it would suck 4 them to all die at once. what mod did you go to.
