    Mod recommendations?

I love my several TC100W but it's not "new" anymore, but it's crazy cheap, very solid, for me, it's virtually flawless and the best mod I've ever had (and why I now have several)... I've only had one that started acting funny after a few months, and it's in the being exchanged process at this...

    Is this normal...

Here's my setup (older picture as I have a crap load more since) but provides the general idea. Close to a hundred DIY bottles going at all times (in that drawer is the low nic. stuff (1-1.5mg), while that fancy box has about 70 bottles of 3mg stuff), and my several mods that are at the ready...

    Is this normal...

It all started with a tiny e-cigarette many years ago. Now I have a full sized desk dedicated to the vaping stuff... here's a small sample of what it looks like mods fiesta! by Imfallen_Angel posted Apr 29, 2017 at 9:16 AM

In your opinion, is vaping gonna die

Until the main generation of smokers are gone, and if smoking tobacco does end up as gone for the most part, the newer generations will either adopt it instead of smoking, or it will die off if they go back to cigarettes or never pick up the habit... as it's either "cool" or "uncool" to do it...

New studies find carcinogens in vg and pg at high temps, even in tootle puffers

I think one point that keeps getting set aside is what's been already stated multiple times. If I heat something at 1,000 degrees (metal plate) and drop water on it, that water isn't going to ever be 1,000 degrees *unless you force a pressurized environment). It will absorb the energy that it...

    Hello folks...

Go check my blog (click my name and see the listing where the blog link is), I've been putting in various info that might be helpful to you.

And I do agree about the temp thing...(always did)... just saying...

New studies find carcinogens in vg and pg at high temps, even in tootle puffers

Oh absolutely... I completely agree... It's been about trying to figure out things here, not stomp feets. I just believe that it's a valid subject and can explain a lot of what we're seeing, but if someone has a valid alternative, I'm more than happy to hear it.

New studies find carcinogens in vg and pg at high temps, even in tootle puffers

Just to add, that even if someone does find something, one still has to consider what the alternatives are when it comes to either vaping or smoking... which will be the lesser of two "evils".

New studies find carcinogens in vg and pg at high temps, even in tootle puffers

Not at all... I'm open to something that can prove something and not something "we're afraid to show it because it might be debunked". If anything you seem intent on finding something negative. Maybe you'll get lucky, who knows. But after over 10 years and everything including the kitchen...

New studies find carcinogens in vg and pg at high temps, even in tootle puffers

To an extent... vaping for me is a hobby that I could drop, but I do it to help my wife and daughter that can't quit smoking without it. And if anything, I wouldn't want to put them in harm's way, so if something concrete instead of all this guess work would show up, I'd take it as factual and...

    Hello folks...

It comes down that it looks "scary" when you haven't done it. RTAs, once I really got into them, I've left my cartridges behind... the difference is 1) it's just a better vape, better airflow, etc. 2) it's insanely cheaper, for the price of one box of cartridges, you could have enough wire and...

New studies find carcinogens in vg and pg at high temps, even in tootle puffers

meh.. considering that the list of cancer giving goodness things (and heart disease, and 10,000 other things) change every few months, we could end up with a study stating that the free radicals that was believed to give cancer is now believed to be a cure for it.... And there's "absolutely...

New studies find carcinogens in vg and pg at high temps, even in tootle puffers

Well, considering that aside this study that's being debated here (and only here in this thread as far as I can tell), and that all other studies fail to make similar findings of anything "cancer giving goodness", it's fairly safe to go with the facts that: 1) the liquid doesn't break down...

New studies find carcinogens in vg and pg at high temps, even in tootle puffers

I don't have the lab to start doing detailed work, nor do I feel like baking my brains right now.. numbers are doable, but I just don't have it in me to be honest, not after 4 hours of sleep thanks to a cold that kept me coughing all night.. But to give you something to either ponder or try to...

New studies find carcinogens in vg and pg at high temps, even in tootle puffers

*sigh*.. no... it only starts with contact as the coil heats up, then the water and PG content kicks the Leidenfrost effect in gear...and between this and just the radiation of the heat energy creates the Leidenfrost effect. The point of how vaping even works at all is because it uses these...

New studies find carcinogens in vg and pg at high temps, even in tootle puffers

Well.. in my post I have... My numerous mentions of conversion to aerosol, of "other substances" lowering the temp required, energy and mass, etc. it's all relative to enthalpy of vaporization. Heck.. if people are so worried about heat as the "energy" to convert to aerosol, they should look...

New studies find carcinogens in vg and pg at high temps, even in tootle puffers

Well, unless someone in here has a full laboratory that's state-of-the-art, I don't think that you'll get any different answers that what's been said to death. And honestly, I've been very surprised if they did find anything different.... no lab has been able to in all these witch hunting...

New studies find carcinogens in vg and pg at high temps, even in tootle puffers

I mean flash as in "vaporized" by the action of energy (in the case of vaping, it uses heat) causing the molecules to receive enough energy to separate from the other molecule and becoming an aerosol. Aerosol - Wikipedia Anyways, the point of it ... if you take anyone's vapor, re-condense it...

New studies find carcinogens in vg and pg at high temps, even in tootle puffers

Read this Glycerine vapor and acrolein - the issues We don't boil VG, we hit its flash point which is a LOT lower than the boiling point. Plus, even "pure/Max" VG will have other stuff in it that lowers it greatly. It's all about the mass vs energy thing. Again, I'm not sure why this topic...
