Best mod for sub-ohm under 50?
I don't really care anymore since I like regulated boxes more, but when i saw the Stingray I checked it out and every other post was talking about problems with the switch which was supposed to be an improvement over the Neme switch.... so i just stuck with the Nemi; still always keep one around. -
My thoughts about sub-ohm and latest VV/VW devices...
Maybe thats why my Origen b/f set at .25 ohms wasn't right on my LP Grand... darn. I had to take it up to .5 and its not ideal.- ukeman

Hmm so I guess I'll keep some of my high watt boxes around after all... for .25 dual coils with 26g wire for those times I want 65 or more watts. I mostly want my single coil rebuildables though and I just learned that these dna devices carry lot of VOLTAGE... for up to 2 ohms, 30g wire and...- ukeman

The Nemesis is one of THE most successful mech tubes ever... more sales than any model, and for good reason - there's hardly a mech tube available that has a perfect switch or top cap and the Nemi has the most user-friendly switch system because it also acts to snug the battery to the contacts... -
highest wattage box mod
1 to 2 ohms is not not considered high watt vaping coils... you usually go sub ohms to get the watts up, and air flow is super important. as far as i know ... my Raptor 120w box only maxes at 5 or 6v... If I put a 1 ohms coil on it, and max the voltage I get 36watts. If I put a .1 ohms coil on... -

It depends what you are vaping on but although this new way of vaping will have some differences, you can sort of approach it the same way you've built coils before; just know that with Ni200 the wire is so thin you can't jam a cotton wick in there without being more careful for one thing, and...- ukeman

No, I've seen a bunch of different size ID coils, but some do like up to 3+mm ID coils ... Some are using 1/16" no problems- ukeman

RDA Best Single Coil RDA
Prometey v2 and Achilles both with same air design... single coil, under coil air. Best flavor I've found anywhere (including RTA). And since you are talking dna clone, you are not going to get the high watts for the dual coil atomizers at sub ohms settings. These are my favorite all time... -
why so high?
You need good air flow to handle high watts... most dual coil RDA's have adjustable air control. Its amazing how fast the watts kick up with a dual coil setup at .25 ohms i.e. and how cool of a vape it is because of the air flow. a .25 ohms netted from 2x .5 ohms coils on a mech creates 64...- ukeman

I just saw Bishop Heals youtube on Hana40... he used a Cyclone just to see how Ni200 worked on a smallish coil. He did 10wraps (didn't say what the gauge of wire was; it came in a loop with the Hana) and looked like about 1/16" (or less) ID and it came out at .20 ohms. Nice demo. He says he's...- ukeman
